We do have availability for the tour departing on the 13 October, however, there is no departure on the 17 October.

I am wondering if the Italian Lakes and Swiss Alps Tour accommodates scooters for mobility issues.

We cannot take any battery-operated devices on board of our vehicles. Our buses are not wheelchair accessible, however we have large luggage compartments which may easily take a manual folding wheelchair or walking frame. At this time we cannot accommodate battery-operated wheelchairs or walking aids. Our staff are not able to offer physical assistance when boarding or disembarking from the buses or at any point during the tour. Guests should be comfortable getting on and off the bus on their own or with the assistance of a travelling companion.

do you also arrange for flight tickets too in the packages we select

we are not able to book any flights as part of our tour packages. We can book you for the tour, and for the accommodation during the tour, but other travel services such as flights and accommodation outside of the tour dates will have to be organised by yourself.

Would it be possible for us to leave the tour at the end of day on the 25 th and take a train back to Milan?

If you would like to depart the tour earlier, that is no problem. On day 5 of the tour, you will be spending the night in Interlaken. Please note that the transportation back to Milan earlier is of your responsibility. Once the booking is confirmed, just pop us a message so we can leave a note for your guide to be aware.

Can I just turn up on the day of the tour?

We recommend arriving at least 15 minutes before the scheduled departure time for check-in. Pre-booking is essential.

The tour was a good experience and Christina, the guide, did an excellent job at creating great days for us and beautiful vistas for us to see. Christina was professional and was excellent at her job. I reached out to tourradar about a week before the tour started to get a list of the hotels and an updated itinerary but was told the did not have an updated version. Other people on our tour, who booked directly through Rabbi's was provided with more details on the tour and the exact hotels. Having the exact hotels would have been helpful in terms of booking reservations, searching for laundry services and general planning.Show more

(we only carry a carry-on for fear of having too much) they do have a wonderful staff also it is easy for the tour guide to find you in the lobby at the start. I know if you ask the desk they may not give you the answer you want to here. Milan is also a great Pre-Tour City to explore before and after Easy train ride from the hotel.Show more

JC know all the scenic roads and is a great driver. TG was great to 8 Ladies and spent his time with is in Free time and adjusted the schedule to accommodate all with in reason. Breakfast was Good in each places and it was enlighten to stay at some of the accommodations. Highly recommends!Show more

The Alps day was boring and disappointing - we drove almost all day and only had about 2 and a half hours in a touristy village, no time to go properly up to the Alps. Accomodation was very mediocre, and should have been located NEAR the destinations on the itinerary. Many hours were spent driving to and from the hotels, and arriving too tired and too late to enjoy the city anyway.Show more

The value of a Rabbie's tour did not disappoint. The driver, Juan Carlos, and the guide, Christina, were invaluable. We are seasoned travelers and have always traveled on our own, making our own plans and travelled with the help of guide books. We will never go back to doing that again. Juan Carlos easily navigated the windy, hilly roads of Italy and Switzerland, and knew the traffic patterns of the countries. Christina, the guide, was great in giving us information about the culture and customs of the people and countries. This tour is perfect for the traveler who wants to have hotel arrangements made, transportation provided yet wants to explore the designated cities and towns on their own without having to follow a guide around. This style of travel really is not for the faint of heart. We were up and gone by 8 or 9 am and returned to the hotel each night around 7:00 or 7:30 each day. Hotels were adequate to good, a variety of accommodations. A 6 day trip was the perfect amount of time to see so many wonderful things. We loved each stop, each city or village had something unique to offer. Each day offered something different, it is hard to say which one was our favorite, although, Lauterbrunnen stood out as a very memorable day. we will not hesitate to recommend Rabbies to friends, and to sign up for another tour.Show more

  As for your questions, you have a around 6 hours in Luterbrunnen, so there is quite a lot of time to explore. However, if one wants to take a trip all the way to Top of Europe, Jungfraujoch, the time to do that will be limited and you might not have time for anything else - your guide will make sure to instruct you about the details, though. A stop to explore Grindelwald is not part of this trip - it is part of our other 6-day tour, Exploring the Landscapes of Switzerland. We do visit Lake Como on day-1 of the tour, and spend quite some time in Lenno, but we do not stop in Varenna or Bellagio.
