It was a very nice 3-day trip to the world of Tortuguero Laguna Lodge. The facilities and the service were excellent. The tour guide Walter did an excellent job. The only thing we didn't like was the return transfer. We had to take a cab from our hotel Vilas del Rio to the Wyndham Garden pick-up point. A direct pick-up would have been possible in terms of traffic. Therefore one star less. It was a wonderful three-day trip into the world of the Tortuguero Laguna Lodge. Both the grounds and the service were outstanding. Our tour guide, Walter, did an excellent job. The only thing we were not pleased with was the transfer service to and from the lodge; on both legs of the journey, we had to take a cab from our hotel, Vilas del Rio, to the designated pickup point at the Wyndham Garden. A direct pickup would have been entirely feasible from a traffic standpoint. For this reason, we are deducting one star.Show more

The only thing we didn't like was the transfer to and from the lodge. We had to take a taxi each way from our hotel, Vilas del Rio, to the Wyndham Garden pick-up point. A direct pick-up would have been possible given the traffic situation. That's why we're deducting one star.Show more

  The longest is Lake Sandoval, which is a 3 km one-way walk, ride on the lake in a rowing boat without a roof and 3 km back in one morning. The rest is more relax.
