What time do we leave Quito?

This tour leave from Quito at 8am. If you are ready to book we can guarantee departure on december 28th. Just take in mind that december is high season so availability may change.

I have a few questions: Is this a guaranteed departure? What time of the day is departure on day 1? What time of the day do we arrive back in quito? What is the average age of the people participating on the tour? How long many hours is the ride to Tena in the private transportation?

We can offer you this program in private base since we dont have any other guest intrested on December. Normally on Day 1 we start by 8 am, driving time to Tena is 4 hours, finally we get back to Quito by 4 pm last day.

when and Where will pickup on saturday and drop off on tuesday in quito be?

Normally we pick up clients from hotels in Quito (centrally located) it normally is at 8:00 am. This tour needs 2 people minimum to start.

What time is the return to Quito? I start another tour at 6pm on the 23rd. Do I need to bring anything for camping? Is a tent provided? What is the sleeping mat like, or should I bring one?

This tour runs with a minimum of 2 participants, otherwise you will have to add the single supplement rate that is 70% of the published price.

Can you set up one day hotel in quito before the tour start and transfer from airport to hotel please and maybe one day more in end of the tour. Also where is the meeting point exactly and when?

We can add an extra night in Quito and the transfer you need. This tour operates with a minimum of 2 participants, however we can do it with 1 person adding the single supplement rate of usd 800, so in total is usd 1599.

During this tour, is there somewhere we can keep our luggage while we adventure? or should we leave our extra luggage at a hostel and treat this as a backpacking trip?

It is better to travel light for this tour, since We stay in tends during the trip.

GUIDEcuador did a wonderful job of curating our Galapagos adventure. It connected us with outstanding guides, and most of the trips turned-out to be private tours. One exception was the tour of Isabela Island, for which we joined a larger group. The guide for that tour was knowledgable but had a sort of nervous energy that made it difficult to relax and enjoy sights. The logistics for handing-off between guides was mostly seamless; however, on the final day our "chaperone" arrived late, was a little young, and was very disinterested. He made sure that we arrived at the airport on time, but he sat apart from us and seemed to be trying to avoid any interaction. Overall though, both the scenery and the wildlife were unforgettable.
