  We're looking at two possible date options: June 10–19 or September 2–11, 2027, and would love your advice on which dates you think would work best in terms of weather, swimming and the experiences. We're expecting around 12 guests. The idea is a 10-day / 9-night overland journey, ideally flying into Sarajevo and out of Tivat, with only three hotel bases: Sarajevo – 2 nights, Mostar – 3 nights, Kotor Bay – 4 nights. We don't want a trip where the group is constantly packing and changing hotels. We'd rather have fewer bases and use them for interesting day trips, while leaving enough time to actually enjoy each place. We're looking for beautiful 4-star or boutique properties with character, rather than generic chain hotels. We especially want the Montenegro accommodation to have an Adriatic/coastal feeling, with beautiful setting, good design, local character and somewhere guests will actually enjoy spending time.

    For Sarajevo we'd like a private walking/cultural tour, Ottoman and Austro-Hungarian architecture, local food and Bosnian coffee. For Konjic / Neretva Valley ideally we'd love to include the scenic train journey towards Mostar if there is a suitable service on our dates. For Mostar we'd like Stari Most, Old Town and a deeper look at the city's history. For Blagaj we'd like Buna River spring, Dervish Tekija and a relaxed riverside lunch. For Počitelj + Kravica Waterfall we'd like historic Ottoman village followed by time to swim and relax at the waterfall. For Trebinje we'd love to include a local winery / wine experience and ideally a nice lunch or dinner. For Bay of Kotor we'd like this to be our main coastal base, ideally in a beautiful 4-star or boutique property with character and a real Adriatic feel. For Kotor + Perast we'd like private walking tour, boat trip to Our Lady of the Rocks and time to enjoy the coast. For Žanjic + Mirišta ideally a boat/swimming day with a good local seafood lunch and plenty of time to relax. For Lovćen + Budva we'd like to see some of Montenegro's mountain landscape and visit Budva, but without turning the day into a checklist. We'd also be interested in including a fun or unexpected experience, such as the Montenegro Alpine Coaster, if there is a good option that fits naturally into the route.

    We'd prefer experiences that feel local and authentic rather than a standard tourist package. We're particularly interested in small producers, family-run places, local food, wine, boat trips and experiences where we actually interact with people from the region.

    Day 1 Sarajevo Arrival - Meet at the airport - Transfer to Old Town Sarajevo - Depending on your flight schedule if it is too early for check in we do walking tour in Old town visiting Ottoman bazaar, Coppersmith street, Bascarsija square, Caravansaray, Gazi Husrevbey mosque, Sacred Heart Cathedral, Latin bridge etc - If Your arrive afternoon first you can check in and refresh and we will do tour in evening or next day. Day 2 Sarajevo - After breakfast proceed to war tunnel museum and learn about Sarajevo siege - Visit Olympic Bobsled track on Trebevic mountain and enjoy walk in forest - From Mountain we take cable car back to the Old Town - Visit Yellow fortress for best panoramic view - Taste Cevapcici traditional food and Bosnian Coffee in the Old Town. Day 3 Sarajevo - Konjic - Mostar - Breakfast and Check Out - Proceed to Herzegovina - Visit Tito's Nuclear Bunker in Konjic, a secret kept till early 2000's and now controlled by army - Taste roasted lamb in one of the restaurants in Jablanica - Drive through Neretva Canyon - We can stop for canoeing if you are up to it in Neretva Canyon where youll have best view - Arrive Mostar - Check in hotel - Rest of the day is free and easy. Day 4 Mostar - Breakfast - Walking tour in Old Town Mostar visiting UNESCO Old Bazaar - Cross Old Bridge - Visit Koski Pasha mosque for best view of Old bridge - Free time for exploring - Continue to Buna river springs where we visit derwish house from XV century and where we recommend you have lunch - Back to Mostar. Day 5 Herzegovina - Breakfast - Visit Kravica Waterfalls - Visit medieval stone town Pocitelj - Wine tasting in Zadro winary - Back to Mostar. Day 6 Mostar - Trabinje - Kotor - Breakfast and Check out - Proceed to Trebinje - Stop at Tvrdos monastery for visit and here you can do wine tsting aswell - Visit Trebinje Old town and Hercegovacka Gracanica - Free time for lunch - Continue to Kotor - Visit Kotor Old Town - Check in - Overnight. Day 7 Kotor - Perast - Breakfast - Privat boat to Perast and Lady of the rocks - Also visit Blu cave - There will be place for swimming in Zinjic. Day 8 Budva + Lovcen - Guided tour in Budva - Pictures of Sveti Stefan - Visit Lovcen. Day 9 free day. Day 10 Transfer to airport.

  Are there restrictions on the number and size of suitcases? My wife and I will each arrive with a standard suitcase and a backpack. What type of vehicles will be used for the tours through the beautiful B&H?

    Sarajevo: 6-8 august and 10-12august will be hotel Sahat 4* in Old town, 100 meters away from Latin bridge and place of Archdukes assassination. Mostar: 8-10 august hotel Kapetanovina 4* located in UNESCO zone of Old Town 5 minutes away walking from Old Bridge
