- Day 1
Marrakech to Essaouira
You'll get picked up from Marrakech and driven to Essaouira on the Atlantic Coast. The drive takes you through changing landscapes until you reach this charming coastal town. Once there, the afternoon is yours to wander around at your own pace. Head down to the beach to watch fishermen bring in their catch, or check out the busy port. You could also just sit back and take in the town's relaxed vibe and salty sea air.

- Day 2
Essaouira
After breakfast, you have the full day to spend however you'd like in Essaouira. If relaxing appeals to you, find a spot on the beach and settle in. The old fort ramparts offer great views and a bit of history. If you're interested in local crafts, the thuya wood workshops show traditional techniques passed down through generations. The town also has interesting history and a lively arts scene worth checking out on your own.

Landmarks Essaouira Fort Ramparts - Day 3
Essaouira to Diabat
Today you can arrange a boat trip or ride a camel or horse from Essaouira to nearby Diabat, a small village just 3km away. There you'll see the ruins of an 18th century palace built for a Sultan. The village has connections to the 1960s hippie scene, and Jimi Hendrix reportedly spent time here and was inspired to write 'Castle Made Of Sand' while visiting the area.

Essaouira
This day is completely open for you to decide. You might prefer to relax and do nothing much, or head out to explore more corners of Essaouira you haven't seen yet. If you want something more structured, there are optional activities available. It's really up to what feels right for you at that point in the trip.
- Day 5
Essaouira to Marrakech
After eating breakfast, you'll head back to Marrakech. Once you arrive and settle in, the afternoon gives you time to start exploring the city's souks and markets. The narrow passages are packed with shops and stalls. You'll also want to check out some historical sites, and make sure you experience Place Jemma el-Fna with its street performers, musicians, and food stalls creating quite the scene.

Marrakech
Today focuses on more of Marrakech's historical sites. If you want a guide to help you navigate and explain what you're seeing, one is available. They can take you to the Saadian Tombs, Badii Palace, and Bahia Palace, plus the museums Maison Tiskiwine and Musee de Marrakech if those interest you. After touring around, you'll have lunch somewhere in the square, which is a nice way to recharge before exploring more.

Marrakech
Another chance to dive into Marrakech's energy and activity. If you're into gardens, you can arrange a guide to visit the Agdal Gardens and Yves St Laurent's Majorelle Gardens, and you can even take a caleche (horse-drawn carriage) if you prefer not to walk. Or spend the day hunting for Moroccan handicrafts at the Centre Artisanal, then wander through the medina and souks picking up whatever catches your eye.

Marrakech
Your last day is scheduled around when you need to head to the airport. Depending on your flight time, you might have a few hours to visit the Marrakech Mellah or the Tanneries, where leather is processed using traditional methods. Or use the time for last-minute shopping to pick up gifts or items you forgot. Then you'll head to the airport for your departure.
