I am a solo traveler I am interested in your tour. I was wondering if you have a place to store luggage and if you rent equipment. Since I don't have a sleeping bag. Also I was curious how many people are currently on the tour that departs on August 2nd?

We don't have any confirmed group departures for the Salkantay trek during August. We can operate the trek for you as a private departure. The price for the departure will be $1,199 USD. We can store your luggage in our storage. The route will be managed with lodges, they have beds so a sleeping bag won't be required. There are currently problems with entering Machu Picchu. We can secure your ticket but you will need to collect it from the ticket shop in Aguas Calientes with our guide.

This was a great experience! I would definitely recommend it. The itinerary was perfect, with the first day to acclimatize, second day summit, and third day return to Cusco. We even got to visit the hot springs in Pacchanta. My guide Irvin was simply amazing. He was super positive, motivational, and very knowledgeable. I would love to tour with Unu Raymi again.

Payment information
- For any tour departing before February 20th, 2026 a full payment is necessary. For tours departing after February 20th, 2026, a minimum payment of 30% is required to confirm your booking with Unu Raymi Expeditions. The final payment will be automatically charged to your credit card on the designated due date. The final payment of the remaining balance is required at least 65 days prior to the departure date of your tour. TourRadar never charges you a booking fee and will charge you in the stated currency.
- Some departure dates and prices may vary and Unu Raymi Expeditions will contact you with any discrepancies before your booking is confirmed.
- The following cards are accepted for "Unu Raymi Expeditions" tours: Visa, Maestro, Mastercard, American Express or PayPal. TourRadar does NOT charge you an extra fee for using any of these payment methods.
