Itinerary
- Day 1
Pokhara to Birethanti - Ulleri
You'll drive from Pokhara to Birethanti, then start trekking through thick forests and past small settlements. The trail climbs steadily upward to Ulleri, a hilltop village sitting at 2,100m/6,890 feet. Along the way you'll see traditional Magar communities and get your first real mountain views as you gain elevation.

Ulleri to Ghorepani
After leaving Ulleri, you'll trek through dense rhododendron and oak forests where you might spot some wildlife. The path gradually takes you higher with occasional glimpses of distant mountains. By afternoon you'll reach Ghorepani, a lively village perched on a ridge. From here the views open up and you can see the Annapurna and Dhaulagiri ranges spreading across the horizon.

Ghorepani - Poon Hill - Tadapani
This morning you'll wake before dawn for a hike to Poon Hill at 3,210m/10,532 feet. The sunrise over the Himalayas comes with light spreading across peaks including Annapurna South and Dhaulagiri. After heading back down for breakfast in Ghorepani, you'll continue trekking through forests and along ridges until you reach Tadapani, a quiet village where you can rest for the evening.

- Day 4
Tadapani to Ghandruk
You'll descend through woodlands with views continuing around you as you make your way toward Ghandruk, one of the largest Gurung villages in the area. The stone-paved alleys are worth wandering, and there's a Gurung Museum where you can learn about local culture. The people here are genuinely welcoming and you'll get a real sense of how communities live in these mountains.

- Day 5
Ghandruk to Nayapul - Pokhara
The trek ends with a downhill walk through terraced fields and past villages leading to Nayapul. From there a scenic drive takes you back to Pokhara, where you can unwind after several days in the mountains. It's a good time to process everything you've seen and experienced during the trek.
