Itinerary
- Day 1
Kathmandu
Your flight arrives in Kathmandu with Himalayan views visible as you approach. A Female Guide Holiday representative will meet you at the airport and take you to your hotel. This evening you'll try authentic Nepalese cuisine that gives you a real introduction to the country's flavors before settling in for your first night.

- Day 2
Kathmandu to Pokhara to Ulleri
You'll fly to Pokhara with great Himalayan views from your seat on the right side of the plane. After getting picked up at the airport, it's about an hour and 20 minutes driving to Nayapul. From there you start trekking through valley forests, cross the Bhurundi Khola river, then climb thousands of stone steps and boulders to reach Ulleri village by late afternoon.

- Day 3
Ulleri to Ghorepani
This morning you head uphill to Ghorepani village along stone stairs, passing waterfalls, small villages, and several tea-houses where you can rest. As you climb higher, you get to see Annapurna South, the Nilgiri mountains, and other peaks around you. By afternoon you reach this scenic mountain village.

Poon Hill - Tadapani
Start early and trek to Poon Hill to see the sunrise over the Himalayas with views of Mustang, Pokhara, and over 20 of the highest mountains visible. You'll head back to Ghorepani for breakfast, then trek east over a ridge. From there you descend through rhododendron forests and waterfalls before arriving at Tadapani.

Tadapani to Chhomrong
You'll walk down through large rhododendron forests to terraced fields below. The trek then goes uphill for around 5 km until you reach a suspension bridge, then continues with more climbing and descending sections. By evening you reach Chhomrong, a village that sits directly below the massive Annapurna.

Chhomrong to Bamboo
Start by descending 2,500 stone steps and crossing the bridge over Chhomrong Khola river. After that you climb uphill to Sinuwa, walk through forests to Kuldihar, then take an easier downhill path to reach Bamboo village where you'll spend the night.

Bamboo to Deurali
The day involves trekking through damp, cold bamboo forest then climbing steep sections higher up. At Himalaya Hotel the forest opens up and you see the glacial river below. You'll continue climbing steeply through drier forest to Hinku Cave, then descend closer to the river before climbing to Deurali with its views of valleys, cliffs, and waterfalls.

Deurali to Annapurna Base Camp
You'll climb gently through a river bed, then take a steep trail along the mountain side. The hike from Bagar to Machhapuchhre Base Camp is somewhat strenuous, but then you enter the Annapurna sanctuary where 360-degree views surround you. You see Machhapuchhre, Annapurna South, Annapurna I, Annapurna III, and other peaks. You reach Annapurna Base Camp at 4,130 meters (13,550 feet).

Annapurna Base Camp to Bamboo
You'll start your descent from Annapurna Base Camp at 4,130 meters and trek back down to Bamboo at 2,310 meters. This downhill trek takes about 7 to 8 hours total, taking you through alpine meadows and rhododendron forests. Throughout the day you see the Annapurna and Machapuchare ranges from different angles.

Landmarks Bamboo - Day 10
Bamboo to Jhinu Danda
Trek uphill from Bamboo to Kuldighar, then downhill to Chhomrong Khola. After that you climb stone steps to reach Chhomrong, then descend to Jhinu Danda for your overnight stay. If you want, there's a 15 to 20 minute walk downhill in the evening to visit the hot springs.

Landmarks Jhinu Danda - Day 11
Jhinu Danda to Pokhara
You'll trek from Jhinu Danda to Nayapul while taking in the hill landscapes of western Nepal around you. From Nayapul, you drive to Pokhara. Note that if road construction connecting Jhinu Danda to Nayapul is finished, the trek might be skipped and you can drive directly from Jhinu Danda to Pokhara instead.

Landmarks Nayapul Pokhara - Day 12
Pokhara to Kathmandu
Take a scenic afternoon flight from Pokhara back to Kathmandu with panoramic Himalayan views from the air one last time. Once you arrive, you'll have time to walk through Kathmandu's busy markets and shop for handcrafted pashminas, traditional Nepali artwork, and local crafts. This evening you'll celebrate your trek with a special farewell dinner at a traditional Nepali restaurant.

Kathmandu Departure
Your Annapurna Base Camp trek comes to an end today. A female guide and Female Guide Holiday representative will go with you to the airport for your final departure, making sure everything goes smoothly as you leave Nepal with great memories from your time trekking.
