Itinerary
- Day 1
Arrival in Egypt
Your Ancient Egypt Tours representative meets you at the airport terminal with a sign, then transfers you by private air-conditioned vehicle to your hotel. Check-in happens at 14:00, though if you arrive earlier you can wait at the hotel or arrange a pre-tour night for immediate access. In the evening, you have two options: either book a 2-hour open buffet Nile dinner cruise with belly dancer and local band, or catch a Sound and Light show if it's available that night.

- Day 2
Luxor West Bank & Temples
After breakfast at your Luxor hotel, your personal guide joins you for a full day exploring the west bank. You'll head to the Valley of the Kings, then see the Mortuary Temple of Queen Hatshepsut at Deir el-Bahari and the Colossi of Memnon. Lunch happens at a local restaurant on the east bank, and after that you continue to the Karnak Temple complex before finishing at Luxor Temple with its impressive Obelisk of Ramses II. Later you drive to Aswan, roughly 3.5 hours away, for the night.

Abu Simbel Temples
Following breakfast, you have a free morning in Aswan to do as you wish. At 11:00 am, you depart on a 3.5-hour drive to Abu Simbel to explore the impressive Temples of Ramses II and the Temple of Queen Nefertari. A lunch box is provided during the return drive back to Aswan. You'll take a flight back to Aswan and transfer to your hotel for the night.

Aswan Monuments & Departure
After breakfast and checkout, you visit the High Dam, an engineering marvel built between 1960 and 1970, then check out the Unfinished Obelisk in the granite quarries. Next comes the Temple of Philae on Isis Island, which honors goddesses Isis and Hathor. Lunch is included during the day. Later you transfer to Luxor Airport, about 3.5 hours away, for your final departure flight, which needs to leave after 18:00.
