The itinerary included interesting sights and experiences in all the cities we visited. There were also optional activities so you could do more or less. Our group got along very well which made it even more enjoyable. Some more free time for shopping would have been nice during the walking tours. However, moving beyond jaipur there is lots of free time and exploring places that have nothing to explore. We were given nearly 3 hours in pushkar to explore where there is essentially nothing to do. There is a severe lack of evening activity planned and we were often left to source our own thing or be back in the room by 8:30. The last day in Delhi is horribly organised. You get off the train at 6am and there is no guarantee of being able to get into the hotel room until regular check in time at 3pm. There is also not a singular activity organised for today. Lots of free time was subsided with going for coffee. As a non-coffee drinker, this does not interest me. Also, if I wanted to visit a coffee shop I could do it in the UK. Here's the correct itinerary for Day 6 of the India tour: After breakfast in the morning, you'll take a private transfer to Pushkar, known as one of the holiest towns in India. Pushkar is a backpacker's paradise with amazing food, beautiful markets, rolling landscapes, hiking and unrivalled sunsets. In the afternoon, a local Brahmin will induct you to Pushkar properly with a blessing on the holy lake and you'll grab a drink at a lakeside cafe before heading back to your accommodation for the night.

Regarding the Holi Festival, as much as this is a joyous period and quite spectacular, it can also come with its concerns for the safety of females. Therefore, it is fully advised to watch this event from the safety of your hotel room and at a distance. Once you have arrived in India, do communicate with your guide to get an opinion for an alternative safe spot to enjoy the festival. Regarding a private Holi party, this may be worth communicating with the tour guide or the hotel about.
