Itinerary
- Day 1
Luxor
Your guide meets you at Luxor Airport, the railway station, or your hotel for transfer to the 5-star Nile Cruise. After checking in, you'll have lunch on board. Then it's out to Karnak Temple, which spans about 63 acres and ranks as the largest temple ever built. The Great Hypostyle Hall with its towering columns is the real highlight here. From there, you'll head to Luxor Temple to see the obelisks and statues that blend ancient Egyptian, Christian, and Islamic elements together. Back on the cruise for dinner and your first night.

- Day 2
Luxor - West Bank - Edfu
Breakfast comes first, then you'll drive to the West Bank to explore the Theban Necropolis. The Valley of the Kings is where pharaohs carved their tombs into the mountains to protect their treasure and mummies. After that, you'll visit the Mortuary Temple of Queen Hatshepsut at El Deir El Bahari. There's a stop for photos at the Colossi of Memnon, two massive 17-meter-high statues representing Pharaoh Amenhotep III. You're back on the cruise by noon for lunch, then sailing down the Nile River. Afternoon tea happens on the sundeck while you cross the Esna Lock. Overnight stays at Edfu on board.

- Day 3
Edfu - Kom Ombo - Aswan
After breakfast, you'll take a horse carriage ride with your guide to the Temple of Horus at Edfu, which is the most complete and best-preserved Egyptian temple around. Back on the cruise to relax on deck and watch the Nile's landscape while sailing toward Kom Ombo. Lunch is on board followed by afternoon tea on the sundeck. Late afternoon brings a visit to the double Temple of Kom Ombo, dedicated to Sobek the crocodile god and Horus the falcon god. You'll return to the cruise for dinner, then there's a folkloric party with the crew and guides. After that, you continue sailing to Aswan for your final night on board.

- Day 4
Abu Simbel - Philae Temple - Aswan
You'll get picked up around 4:00 to 4:30 am for a shared group trip heading south to Abu Simbel. The rock-cut temples of Ramesses II and Queen Nefertari sit there carved right into the mountainside, and you'll have time to walk through both structures with your group before heading back to the cruise by 2:30 pm. After lunch, a motorboat takes you out to Philae Temple with your guide who'll explain what you're looking at. Later in the afternoon, you'll transfer from the cruise to your Aswan hotel, the airport, or railway station depending on where you're heading next.
