- Day 1
Ifran to Merzouga Desert
Head out early and drive south through Ifran, where you'll see alpine-style buildings surrounded by cedar forests. The route takes you through Midelt and along the Ziz Valley before reaching Merzouga. Once there, you'll take a camel ride as the sun sets, heading to your private desert camp. After settling in, there's dinner and local music under the stars to end the evening.

Merzouga Desert
Rise early to catch the sunrise from the Berber camp, then have breakfast before heading back on camel. After that, you'll spend the day on a 4x4 tour across the Erg Chebbi dunes, stopping at key desert sites. Lunch is traditional Medfouna, and you'll have free time to rest afterward. The day wraps up with dinner, and you'll stay overnight at a hotel in Merzouga.

Merzouga to Boumalne Dades
Wake up for sunrise and have breakfast before traveling through Errissani toward the Tafilalet region. You'll pass through the palm groves around Tinghir and visit Todgha Gorge, where limestone cliffs rise dramatically in the eastern High Atlas. By evening, you'll reach Boumalne Dades, set in a landscape known for its artistic character, and stay overnight.

Boumalne Dades to Marrakech
After breakfast, head toward Marrakech by way of Ouarzazate. Stop at Atlas Studio to see where films are made, then continue to Ait Ben Haddou, a UNESCO site with traditional earthen clay architecture dating back to the 17th century. You'll cross the Tishka pass at 2260m/7,415 feet before arriving in Marrakech with free time and an overnight stay.

Marrakech
With a guide, you'll visit Marrakech's key sites. Tour the Bahia Palace and its gardens built in the late 1800s, see the Saadian Tombs from the Saadian dynasty, check out the Koutoubia mosque, and spend time in the busy Jamaa El Fna marketplace. You'll stay overnight in Marrakech after taking it all in.

Marrakech to Essaouira
Leave after breakfast heading toward Essaouira on the coast, traveling through Chichawa and the Argan forest. Once there, the day is yours to do what you like. Depending on the season (April through November is windsurfing season), you might try windsurfing, walk through the fortified medina, browse galleries and shops, or watch fishing boats at the port. You'll stay overnight in Essaouira.

Essaouira to Casablanca
Travel to Casablanca after breakfast. You'll visit Mohammad V Square, built in 1916 with French Colonial buildings and a fountain covered in pigeons. From there, tour the Hassan II Mosque, finished in 1993 with a minaret that reaches 210 meters high, the second-tallest in the world. Overnight stay in Casablanca.

Casablanca to Tangier
Drive via highway to Asilah, a well-preserved 15th-century town and art hub built by Portuguese colonists. Walk through the whitewashed medina with its paintings, ramparts from the 1400s, the Church of San Bartolome, and El Hamra tower. You'll have free time to explore before heading to Tangier for the night.

Chefchaouen
Continue through northern Morocco visiting Tangier's hillside medina and Dar el Makhzen palace, now a museum. Check out the American Legation Museum in an 1821 Moorish-style building, then explore the Hercules Caves known for their Africa-shaped opening. Stop at the kasbah museum with its Andalusian gardens. By evening, you'll reach Chefchaouen and walk around the blue-washed medina, seeing Place Outa el Hammam square, the red Kasbah fortress, and the Ethnographic Museum. Free time and overnight stay in Chefchaouen.

Chefchaouen
After breakfast, a guide takes you to the Akchour Waterfalls in the Rif Mountains near Chefchaouen. The trek is easy and runs about 5.5km to reach the turquoise waterfall. You'll spend the day exploring this natural area, then head back with free time for the rest of the day. Stay overnight in Chefchaouen.

Chefchaouen to Fes
Travel to Fes and stop at historically significant sites along the way. Explore Volubilis, an excavated ancient city that was once capital of Mauretania. Continue to Meknes to see its imperial history, including the Bab Mansour gate with its distinctive arches and mosaic tiles. You'll arrive at your accommodation in Fes by the end of the day.
