Reply from: Morocco Mountain GuidesDear Aisha, First and foremost, we sincerely apologize for the inconvenience and frustration you experienced during your trip. We truly value your feedback, as it helps us improve our services. We're very sorry that your expectations were not met, and we understand how disappointing it must have been to feel that the service you received wasn’t up to the standard you had hoped for. From your message, we see that the beginning of the trip went smoothly, and we are happy to hear that the nature and locations you visited were enjoyable. We were also glad to accommodate your request to change the itinerary for hiking and trekking, which was not originally part of the package. We strive to be flexible and responsive to our guests' preferences, and in this case, we agreed on a price of 150 euros for the additional activities. However, we do acknowledge that we made a mistake in not clearly outlining the payment terms from the beginning of the trip. We should have informed you that the additional charge would be due at the end of your stay, and we understand that this led to confusion. When you decided not to pay the agreed-upon amount at the conclusion of your trip, it left us in an uncomfortable position. We noticed that you left a one-star review, which we can understand is related to the disagreement over the payment. However, we also want to highlight that from the beginning of your review, you mentioned that the trip itself went well, and that the nature and locations were worth seeing. We truly appreciate you acknowledging those aspects, and we regret that the issue around payment overshadowed what was otherwise a positive experience. We have learned from this experience that we need to ensure all payments are discussed and finalized prior to the start of the trip. We also understand that being overly flexible with trip plans can sometimes create misunderstandings, and we will be more mindful in the future to maintain clearer communication with our guests about any changes to the itinerary. We always aim to treat our guests with respect and trust, and we deeply regret that your experience did not reflect that commitment. We truly appreciate your feedback, as it will help us enhance the service we provide. Once again, we are sorry for any distress this caused you, and we thank you for bringing this matter to our attention. Kind regards,Show more

Asked on March 30th, 2025I plan to go to Morocco and book this tour, but I'm going solo. So, can I book this tour? If yes, when I select accommodation, it requires 2 travelers for a Twin room. How can this option be bypassed with 1 traveler?
Morocco Mountain GuidesOperator•Written March 2025Please note that the Trip requires Minimum 2 people that's why you find dififuclty in selecting the booking.

Traveler•Written November 2022I'm looking for a guide who knows the history behind the kasbahs well and I'm also very interested in going sandbording. Ideally I would stay two nights in the Sahara. Would all that be possible? And how much would it cost?
Morocco Mountain GuidesOperator•Written November 2022It is possible to arrange you a guide and driver who knows more about kasbahs and it is possible to stay in the desert camp for two nights including sandboarding.

Traveler•Written November 2022This sounds great, I'm ready to book this tour! Just to confirm, it's ok if we change the itinerary a bit, right? For example, on day 4 I would like to spend more time on the dunes than in the villages. We also have to keep in mind that in December it gets dark early so I will probably want to get up quite early every day to make the most out of our days. I hope you're flexible!

Traveler•Written November 2022Excellent, so the dates will be December 5th - December 9th. Would that work?
