  I would not recommend booking this trip!!!! At the beginning, everything seemed fine. But toward the end of the vacation, the true face of the tour operator came through – disrespectful and unfair. I arrived in Marrakech one day earlier and was offered to be picked up by the organizer, which I accepted. The pickup service was supposed to be included in the trip, meaning they should have picked me up anyway. However, at the end of the trip, I was suddenly charged 150 euros – just for 4 hours of sleep. I tried to calmly explain and ask why there was suddenly an extra charge, even though the number of days of the trip it Self stayed exactly the same. I would’ve been willing to pay for the extra night, but it was a 15-euro room – not 150 euros. Instead of a clear explanation, I received a phone call from Lakhsan, who insulted me and acted very unprofessionally. The food wasn’t anything special, the accommodations were very basic and cheap, and the guides couldn’t speak fluent English or French, which made communication difficult. The trip itself – the nature and the locations – was worth seeing. But maybe you’re better off just renting a car and exploring on your own.Show more

However, we do acknowledge that we made a mistake in not clearly outlining the payment terms from the beginning of the trip. We should have informed you that the additional charge would be due at the end of your stay, and we understand that this led to confusion. When you decided not to pay the agreed-upon amount at the conclusion of your trip, it left us in an uncomfortable position. We noticed that you left a one-star review, which we can understand is related to the disagreement over the payment. However, we also want to highlight that from the beginning of your review, you mentioned that the trip itself went well, and that the nature and locations were worth seeing. We truly appreciate you acknowledging those aspects, and we regret that the issue around payment overshadowed what was otherwise a positive experience. We have learned from this experience that we need to ensure all payments are discussed and finalized prior to the start of the trip. We also understand that being overly flexible with trip plans can sometimes create misunderstandings, and we will be more mindful in the future to maintain clearer communication with our guests about any changes to the itinerary. We always aim to treat our guests with respect and trust, and we deeply regret that your experience did not reflect that commitment.   I booked a 5 day solo tour with Ridouane (my guide) and Hassan (our driver). Let me start off my saying that the tour was perfectly smooth thanks to both of them! Sadly I had a cold the whole time but Ridouane went above and beyond to adapt to my needs such as a switching hotels twice during the trip. Besides being adaptable, Ridouane is without a doubt one of the most knowledgeable guides I’ve ever hired who (I’m not joking) managed to answer every one of my questions except for one during the whole excursion! And for that one question I can’t even find info online…Hassan drove us quickly and safely across the country and was super friendly as well. I also really liked their choice of hotels! All in all guys, thanks for this trip which I will keep looking back to when I think of Morocco. Hope to see you when I’m back, this time to go north!Show more

  All I can say is...fantastic!!! Lahcen with Morocco Mountain Guides was just amazing, flexible and had everything perfectly arranged. He went out of his way to adjust the trip and include things we really wanted to do but didn't think we had time to do(climb Mt Toubkal). The driver and guides we had were top notch, so informative, caring and helpful. I couldn't have asked for a better tour...highly recommend!!!Show more
