Itinerary
- Day 1
Cairo
You'll land at Cairo International Airport and get picked up for transfer to your hotel. The afternoon and evening are free, so you can settle in, rest after your flight, and get acclimated to the time zone.

- Day 2
Cairo to Luxor
After breakfast, an Egyptologist guide takes you to see the Great Pyramids of Giza, then on to Dahshur to explore the Bent and Red Pyramids, and finally the Step Pyramid at Saqqara. Later that evening you'll head to the train station and board a sleeper train to Luxor, arriving tomorrow morning.

- Day 3
Luxor
You arrive in Luxor this morning and start a full-day temple tour right away. First up is Karnak temple with its impressive row of ram-headed sphinxes and massive columns. After that, you'll check out Luxor temple, which was once the heart of festivals in ancient Thebes.

- Day 4
Abydos - Dendera
A private vehicle takes you to Abydos to see the Temple of Seti I, one of the holiest locations from ancient Egypt and known for its detailed reliefs on the walls. From there you head to Dendera to explore the Temple of Hathor, which has some rare carvings including an image of Queen Cleopatra IV and the famous Dendera Zodiac. You return to Luxor by evening.

- Day 5
Luxor to Cairo
This day starts early with a guided tour across Luxor's west bank. You'll walk through the Valley of the Kings where pharaohs' tombs are carved into the rocky hillside, then see Queen Hatshepsut's funerary temple, the Medinet Habu temple of Ramses III, and the massive 18-meter Memnon statues. After some free time on the east bank, you board the sleeper train back to Cairo.

Cairo
You arrive in Cairo early and spend the day on a comprehensive city tour. The Egyptian Museum comes first with over 120,000 antiquities and the King Tutankhamun treasures. Then you head to the Citadel of Saladin to tour the Mohamed Ali Alabaster mosque and take in the city views. Later, you walk through Old Cairo's historic sites including the Fortress of Babylon, Church of St. Sergius, Hanging Church, and Ben Ezra Synagogue.

Cairo to Alexandria and return
A private vehicle takes you north to Alexandria (about 225 km). You'll see the 2nd-century Catacombs, drive along the Mediterranean corniche, visit the Citadel of Qaitbay where the ancient lighthouse once stood, and walk through the Alexandria Library with its modern design. After exploring Montazah Gardens and the old royal summer palaces, you'll grab lunch with Mediterranean views before heading back to Cairo.
