  I did a solo trip in Egypt and booked a wonderful Nile cruise with Luxor Private Tour. The cruise included several excursions in addition to the cruise itself. On the first and second day, Mohamed took me around Luxor, which was truly amazing. We visited Karnak Temple and Luxor Temple, and on the second day we went to the Valley of the Kings and Hatshepsut. Mohamed is an excellent storyteller; he has beautiful stories and really laid the foundation for the rest of my trip. Without his explanations, I would not have understood the rest nearly as well. He takes his time with you and genuinely wants to help with everything. He was really great and even helped me do some shopping. On the boat, my room was a little disappointing at first. It was all the way at the back on the lowest level, and there was quite a strong diesel smell in the room. That’s not entirely surprising on a boat, but still. I mentioned it to Ash, and he immediately arranged a new room for me on the third floor. He handled that fantastically. I really enjoyed the cruise, and everyone on board was very kind. That was wonderful to experience. On the second day of the cruise I did two excursions: in the morning in Edfu and in the evening in Kom Ombo. Both tour guides were very kind, sweet, and helpful. They told us a lot and showed us many things, but I have to say that Mohamed had already laid the foundation, which helped me understand their stories even better. In the end, it all became one continuous story, starting in Luxor and continuing all the way to Aswan. It was beautiful. When we arrived in Aswan, I spent another morning there with Ahmed. He took me to the High Dam, the Unfinished Obelisk, and the Philae Temple. That was also truly amazing. The boat ride there was lovely, and the island with the impressive temple was beautiful. I really enjoyed this trip—it was fantastic to experience, even on my own. Ash and Mohamed also kept checking in with me regularly, asking how I was doing, where I was, whether I needed help, and if I had arrived safely. That is incredibly reassuring when you are traveling alone. This trip is absolutely recommended.Show more

  We booked our family vacation through Luxor Private Tour. Ashraf and his team did a wonderful job ensuring we were able to visit all the places on our bucket list , taste local food , even visit local spice shop . Among the guides , Mr. Mohammad who accompanied us during our two days in Luxor is excellent . He is so passionate about sharing Egyptian culture and history .If you are visiting Luxor , please request for him Mr. Mohammad Aziz in Cairo was also very nice . We were able to taste local Egyptian food , visit local bazaara, visit great monuments in Cairo , Luxor , Abu Simbel . Even though we only had 6 full days we visited a lot if places thanks to Ashraf and his team . The airport pick up , visa assitance were so smooth . I recommend Mr. Ashraf and his team for any of your Egyptian vacations very highly . The vehicles were clean , air conditioned , the guides spoke great English . One of the guides Ammena even took us to a local breakfast place to pick up some local Egyptian breakfast in Aswan and that was so tasty . Kids were able to but some soveniers with the help of Mr. Mohammad in Luxor . Luxor Private tour is the best . Mr. Ashraf kept checking on us regularly and was very accomodative for our needs .
