Itinerary

  1. Day 1

    Cat Cat Village

    You'll board an overnight train from Hanoi heading to Lao Cai, arriving early morning (or take a sleeper bus if trains aren't available). From there, a shared minivan brings you to Sapa. After grabbing breakfast, start exploring Sapa Town by checking out the local market and old cathedral, where you'll encounter ethnic minority communities. By midday, you're hiking down to Cat Cat Village through terraced rice paddies, visiting H'mong homes and seeing a historic waterfall next to a French-built power station. The trail loops back to Sapa by evening.

  2. Day 2

    Sapa to Muong Hoa Valley to Hanoi

    Following breakfast, you'll walk south along the main road for roughly an hour, then turn onto a footpath heading downhill into Muong Hoa Valley. A suspension bridge gets you across to Y Linh Ho village where you visit H'mong families. Hiking continues through valleys to Lao Chai village, and then you follow the river bank to Ta Van to explore Zay communities and check out local homes and schools. At 4 p.m., a bus heads back to Hanoi, arriving around 10 p.m.

    Do we have time to go to Fansipan Peek in the cable car? I want to go to Cay Cat and Fansipan. I don't want big trekking. Is that the correct tour?

      Regarding the itinerary, if you prefer short treking, we can customize the tour. Day 2 includes Fansipan peak. The tour would include round-trip transfers Hanoi-Sapa by cabin sleeper bus, English speaking tour guides, accommodation (3*), all the entrance fees, meals (2 breakfasts, 2 lunches, 1 dinner).

    How much is the tour for a child's ticket? I have 2 adults and 3 children, ages 11, 9 and 5. The 5 year old does not need her own bed.

The final payment will be automatically charged to your credit card on the designated due date. The final payment of the remaining balance is required at least 40 days prior to the departure date of your tour. TourRadar never charges you a booking fee and will charge you in the stated currency.
