Itinerary
- Day 1
Cairo
You'll arrive at Cairo airport and get picked up for transfer to your hotel. Check-in happens at 14:00, so if you get there earlier you can hang out at the hotel or add an extra night if you want. In the evening, there's the option to do a Nile dinner cruise or catch the Sound and Light show if you're not too tired from traveling.

- Day 2
Cairo to Luxor
After breakfast at the hotel, head out to Giza Plateau to see the Great Pyramid of Khufu, Khafre's pyramid, Menkaure's pyramid and the Great Sphinx. You'll stop at the Valley Temple and get photos of all three pyramids with Cairo's skyline in the background. Grab lunch at a local restaurant, then spend the afternoon at the Egyptian Museum checking out the ancient artifacts and King Tutankhamun's treasures. Later you'll go to the train station for your overnight sleeper train heading to Luxor.

- Day 3
Luxor
Have breakfast on board the train as you arrive in Luxor. Then visit Karnak Temple, which is the largest temple complex ever built with the massive Hypostyle Hall and lots of shrines. After that, check out Luxor Temple built by Amenhotep III and Ramses II. You'll have some free time to shop around Luxor before heading to your hotel for the evening.

- Day 4
Luxor to Edfu
Get an early breakfast then cross to the West Bank to see the Colossi of Memnon, two huge stone statues from Amenhotep III's memorial temple. Explore the Valley of the Kings where you'll see three royal tombs including King Tutankhamun's. After lunch at a local spot, walk through the Mortuary Temple of Queen Hatshepsut at El Deir El Bahary with its three levels. By evening you'll have tea and dinner on board as the boat sails toward Edfu.

Edfu to Kom Ombo
The boat reaches Edfu and you'll have breakfast on board before visiting the Temple of Horus, the second largest temple after Karnak and really well preserved from the Ptolemaic era. Lunch is on the boat, then you continue sailing to Kom Ombo. There you'll see the unique double Temple of Sobek and Haroeris with its interesting dual dedication to the crocodile god and Horus, plus later Roman additions. Dinner's on board with an overnight stay in Kom Ombo.

Aswan
Sail into Aswan and grab breakfast on board. Check out the High Dam, a major engineering project built between 1960 and 1970 that changed how Egypt manages water and agriculture. Walk through the Unfinished Obelisk, the largest known ancient obelisk that would have been around 42 meters tall if they'd finished it. Then visit the Temple of Philae on Isis Island which is dedicated to Isis and Hathor, and explore the Granite Quarries. Have afternoon tea and a Galabya party dinner on board before staying overnight in Aswan.

Aswan to Cairo
Have breakfast on board then disembark from the cruise. You'll transfer to Aswan train station to catch your overnight sleeper train back to Cairo.

Cairo to Alexandria to Cairo
After breakfast, your representative picks you up for a 210-kilometer drive to Alexandria on the Mediterranean coast. Visit Montazah Palace and its 317-acre gardens with historic palaces and upscale hotels. See Pompey's Pillar, a monument put up in the late 4th century for Emperor Diocletian. Check out the Catacombs, the largest Roman cemetery with three levels carved into rock. Have lunch at a local restaurant and then head back to Cairo for the night.
