I would like to make inquiries about this trip in March. I would like to spend 2 days in Delhi to find a Tailor for woman's clothing before embarking on my tour. I am not interested in the 1/2 day tour of Delhi. I wish to add some days to the tour and want to visit Bandhavgarh National Park and Kanha Tiger reserve and Bandhavgara National Park. Also I would love to find a true to see the snow leopards in the north if possible at the end of my tiger tour

Jeeps are used for all the safaris. As per the program, we provide Sharing jeep safaris with the other visitors. But incase you want private jeep safaris, that can also be arranged.

what are the best months to do this tour please? Also, how many safaris are actually included with the tour and how much do the optional ones cost? Are these parks good for birds as well, my husband is keen on bird watching!

The best time to visit is from October till March. Total 6 safaris are included. The optional cost depends upon the safaris availability. Yes, all parks have good number of birds.

Is there any possibility to take part in an organised travel with other people? Or would I travel alone (I suppose that in this case I would go with a local guide)? Is it an active trip? What I mean is if there are many idle time. When I talk with travel agencies I am usually interested in those trips characterized by taking advantage of the time, in order to attain a complete experience of the country.

As of now, we do not have any group tour between the period you have requested. If you are interested, you have travel alone and bear a single supplement. During the trip, you will get enough time to relax and this time can be utilized by you.

Is there an extra charge for a solo traveller? Will I be part of a group tour, which is what I want, not on my own?

If there is a space available then no extra charge. If not, then you have to bear a single supplement as a solo traveler.

I could leave on any date 29/2 to 7/3. I cannot afford the increased single supplement and am happy to share with anyone. Should you receive contact from anyone else in same situation please advise.

Yes, this is absolutely good even for the children. Yes, domestic flights are included in the package. This is all inclusive program ie. Breakfast is included everywhere. You need to spend only on your Food i.e. Lunch and Dinner. Breakfast.Lunch and Dinner are included in all the National Parks.

The "safaries" were only fast drive arounds in the forest of the parks. No strategies as to where the tigers may be located based on their known behavior patterns. These "safaris" were nothing more than random drives in the parks with many vehicles entering the parks at the same time with up to 40 or more vehicles filled with 4 to 6 people per vehicle. All the noise and movement of the vehicles driving rapidly was sure to scare any tigers in the area far from the roads. In one park the best encounter with any tiger was a distant growl. I have been on safaris in Africa were the guides use two way radios and know where the animals are located. When one jeep spots animals the guides radio the others where the animals are located. These drive arounds in the tiger parks have no radios. The guides do not speak English and have very limited knowledge of the forest and animals. The lodges were very old, but acceptable. One, The Dharoha Kothi, had an excellent staff and the manager, Amit Kumar Shukia, was very helpful and attenuative to make our stay enjoyable. Due to fog in Delhi the train to take us on an overnight trip was reduced to third class, so we had that trip cancelled to take a plane instead. All of the extra costs we had to cover. I strongly advise everyone not to take this "safari" as it is a waste of money because of its non-professional approach to see tigers in the parks. We did not see any tigers, mostly monkeys and deer. Sometimes they add more and more safaris to see the tigers. These parks are under indian government and we do not control who will be the guide. Yes, they are not fluent in english but ehy have full knowledge about the parks. Also the period you chose to travel is very cold weather, hence fog is common. Kind Regards Hemender Singh

They were very informative and gave us a lot of information about the animals we were seeing. The Taj Mahal tour was also really beautiful. I would like to express my deepest gratitude to Mr. Hemender Singh and the entire Travel Con team! At the stage of planning the trip, I quickly received answers to my questions. The tour itself was organized very well! My husband and I liked everything: the route was thought out to the smallest detail, the logistics were excellent. We were pleasantly surprised by the high class hotels and the professionalism of our drivers. I want to express special gratitude to our driver Ali - he was always friendly and polite, helped us with solving various issues, was a pleasant conversationalist and an excellent driver. However, I must also mention a misunderstanding in the planning process of the tour: the program indicated a total of 5 safaris, but in fact only 3 safaris were booked. Without excluding my guilt and inattention, I am asking Mr. Hemender to find a compromise. We were offered to book 2 more safaris, dividing the costs in half, which we agreed to. Always check the number of included options! Information on the tour program may be outdated, do not make my mistakes. Otherwise, we are very satisfied with our tours in India and thanks Travel Con for this opportunity!Show more

  Can I clarify the question about the guides do we have a driver? And then we meet a local guide in each city? I just want to clarify that we won't be expected to arrange our own travel. Regarding train travel will we have our own compartment? Does it have a toilet? Sorry for my ignorance I have never travelled overnight on a train. With regard to adding extra days at a beach resort where do you suggest and could you give details and a price for this additional request.

  Would like possibly like to upgrade the train ticket to 1st class and we could add 4 additional nights in goa possibly 4* hotels we need the details e.g does this include the internal flight? And a transfer to and from the hotel to the airport (Delhi/goa and Goa airport) Obviously we would arrange international flights ourselves flying back to the UK from Goa not Delhi. Could you confirm these requests with a total cost and details of hotel etc.

Would the additional services be added to the total we pay through tourradar? Or do we pay them to you on in India? I ask this as we are wanting to pay in instalments.   I recommend to decide in advance to arrange accordingly. But sometimes the visitors make up their mind to have more safaris and it all depends upon the subject of availability. The period you have chosen is considered to be high season hence full of visitors.

  If I pre purchase the excess baggage, then it would be around USD 5 per Kilo. If you do not, ti will cost USD 8 per kilo. Also it depends upon the airlines. Like you will be 2 person travelling together, so they distribute the excess kilo.

  Yes, this is absolutely good even for the children. Yes, domestic flights are included in the package. This is all inclusive program ie. Breakfast is included everywhere. You need to spend only on your Food i.e. Lunch and Dinner. Breakfast.Lunch and Dinner are included in all the National Parks.

The final payment will be automatically charged to your credit card on the designated due date. The final payment of the remaining balance is required at least 60 days prior to the departure date of your tour. TourRadar never charges you a booking fee and will charge you in the stated currency.
