He just couldn't tell me anything about the pick-up time and the rest of my trip to Cairo, he had to figure that out first. During the sightseeing in Cairo we had Doas as our guide. She was super nice, cheerful and really thought with us, so we didn't have to worry about the rest of our trip. I felt much more at ease and I had a really nice last day in Egypt because of it! All in all, very happy to have seen the temples and on the cruise ship itself, everything was also well organized. There is some work to be done regarding the itinerary on the Nile cruise so that it is more manageable for everyone and everything is clear with information. Overall the tour was very well organised and coordinated. But I was not able to do 'Day 4, Aswan-2-Edfu: Abu Simbel temples visit (Temple of Ramesses II and Temple of Queen Nefertari)'. Reason: I waited for the prearranged time and location but no one turned up and I did not knew the new guide 'Peter' number. After long wait and gave up. Informed the ship reception where I can be found if someone asks. I found out late evening that Peter was collecting people from the airport and the flight was delayed. I was given the option starting next day at 4am (~7hr with 1 hour to check the place) but had to miss another event. Both these two days were very important to me so I decided not to start at 4am. It would have been nice to inform me the reason for the delay. I started to think I was in wrong location or got the timing wrong and the group has left without me. I had to end up paying for all the entrance fee. I assumed this was included. This should be clearly defined.Show more

The entire journey was breathtaking and beautiful, a once-in-a-lifetime experience that exceeded all our expectations. One note I’d like to mention: we found the Nubian village tour to be quite pricey. Another couple on the tour found the exact same experience for less than half of what we paid, which was disappointing. The food was enjoyable, though not quite as Mediterranean as we anticipated. There was a wide variety, and I especially appreciated the vegetable dishes, but I had hoped for a bit more authentic Egyptian and Mediterranean flavors. Payment information
- For any tour departing before July 7th, 2026 a full payment is necessary. For tours departing after July 7th, 2026, a minimum payment of 20% is required to confirm your booking with Itaca Holiday. The final payment will be automatically charged to your credit card on the designated due date. The final payment of the remaining balance is required at least 60 days prior to the departure date of your tour. TourRadar never charges you a booking fee and will charge you in the stated currency.
- Some departure dates and prices may vary and Itaca Holiday will contact you with any discrepancies before your booking is confirmed.
- The following cards are accepted for "Itaca Holiday" tours: Visa, Maestro, Mastercard, American Express or PayPal. TourRadar does NOT charge you an extra fee for using any of these payment methods.
