I am 79. I wonder why this Nepal Social Treks tour is restricted to 6-75 year olds, when your other Nepal Social Treks "Explore Nepal 11 Days tour" is open to 5-85 year olds? From the itineraries, this short tour should be physically easier as it does not have the trekking in the longer one that is open to 85 year olds. Are these age limits just arbitrary, without any particular rationale? Are these age limits rigid, or is some flexibility permitted?

Our age limit is mandatory for any package. However the age is just a number and if you are fit and fine then you could take part on the tour. This tour is easy and for the trekking you can choose to go on jeep or by foot as well.

Will the bus and cars have enough room to fit both when traveling between cities?

Yes, buses and cars have large spaces to put your suitcase. Otherwise, you store in our office. When you finish your tour after that you bring it.

I was really happy to be able to realize my long-held dream of traveling to Nepal. The person in charge at the tour company and the driver were very nice. However, one thing that bothered me was that the younger brother of our guide in Pokhara runs a restaurant, so my husband wanted to help out and chose that restaurant for lunch. We treated the driver and guide, but they didn't say thank you. What surprised me was that the prices were higher than other restaurants and that a 10% tip had been added on arbitrarily. We weren't shown the menu, so we didn't know the regular prices. That was a bit disappointing. Anyway Thank you so much for wonderful Nepal TourShow more

Our experience with Nepal Social Trek was great. The trip was well-organized, and we appreciated the provision of private transportation. The drivers and local guides were patient and accommodating to our needs throughout the journey. One area for improvement would be the visit to Lumbini. The road conditions were challenging, taking six hours to reach, and the accommodation there could be more comfortable. Overall, Nepal Social Trek offers flexibility, sociability, and warm hospitality. I would rate this trip 4/5.Show more

Some hits and misses but overall, a well planned tour. Friendly tour agents who truly aim to please. There was a bit of a mix up where i had paid a supplement for an upgrade to 4-star accommodation, but a couple of the hotels fell short of my expectations and as it happened, there was a mistake in the booking for a standard accommodation, instead of the 4-star i had paid for (mind you, this doesn’t happen all the time, if at all. It was probably just my cursed luck 😆). The tour operator however more than made up for it; they went out of their way to re-accommodate me to another hotel, gave me a refund for the two hotels that were not up to par, even though i wasn’t expecting a refund, and i cannot complain over their efforts and service to make sure i had a pleasant trip despite all that. Nepal Social is definitely a reliable operator with integrity and a genuine desire to make your trip a great one. And i did have a great time inspite of it all.Show more

Book with Nepal Social! Highly recommend. See you soon in Nepal. I would like to tell you about my experience with Nepal Social Trek. I have wanted to fly to Nepal for years to get to know the country. After my research, I didn't trust myself to organise my own tour in a country like Nepal without having been there before. I would like to divide my review into five parts: 1. booking and contact before the trip: In the run-up to booking the trip, I had a few questions and sent an email to [Removed In Moderation]. My questions were answered within one working day and I booked the trip: 10 Days Beautiful Nepal Tour. When I left Germany I had great misfortune and my flight was cancelled twice. Once the flight was postponed for 5 days because of a strike at the airport and then again because of a snowstorm in Istanbul. I thought I had lost the money I paid for the tour. The tour manager Nabin changed my tour dates two times in the most flexible, service oriented way without charging me extra. 2. Arrival and first personal contact: Although my flight arrived in Kathmandu at one o'clock in the morning, my driver Dipak waited for me with a sign with my name on it and brought me safely to the hotel. The hotel is very luxurious and you feel very comfortable and safe on your first night in a foreign country. The next morning at 10am I was picked up by Nabin from the hotel and we walked together the 10 min walk to the Nepal social trecks office. He said welcome and that it was a matter of course that problems like I had would be managed and that this was part of the service. Then we went through the trip again in detail. Nabin gave me his WhatsApp number and told me that I could always write to him if I had any problems or questions. 3. accommodation The accommodation on my tour can be divided into two categories: Hotels: The hotels were of a very high standard by Nepalese standards. The bed is comfortable, the bathroom clean, there is air conditioning/heating and room service with food and drinks. The hotels all have catering facilities. Breakfast is included in the tour price and dinner costs around 5-10 euros. Resorts: The resorts are somewhat simpler and of a lower standard. The bathroom is sufficiently hygienic, there is no heating and the mattress is not quite as comfortable. But totally sufficient. 4. tour manager, driver, guides My tour manager was very Nabin was very helpful and service oriented. He reminded me of appointments via WhatsApp, was always available for me and helped me organise things on the spot. My driver Dipak was calm and polite and always drove me safely in a jeep to my destination. My guide Adhikari accompanied me in Pokhara and the surrounding area. He gave me a lot of information about Nepal and was very courteous and kind. 5. conclusion The trip was very well organised and gave me a good first impression of Nepal. The staff of Nepal Social Trecks were always reliable, punctual and service-oriented. If I had organised the trip on my own, it would probably have taken me twice as long to see everything. I booked the tour quite last minute and had never used Tour Radar before. The reviews for Tour Radar and Nepal Social Treks were positive so I booked the Wonderful Nepal tour. I guess this tour was my trial before I use Tour Radar for longer tours. The booking process was very easy. The tour itself was very well organised and everyone involved was very friendly from the guides to the drivers. Communication prior to the tour and during the tour was very good and any questions I had were answered in a timely manner. On the tour I was able to see some amazing places and things from black rhinos in Chitwann to the beautiful mountains. I loved Nepal, the scenery, people and food were all amazing. The trip was a really good way of seeing a mix of things and different areas. It was very well organised and I really enjoyed it. I would love to go back next year to see more of the mountains and the smaller villages. I wouldn't hesitate to book with Nepal Social Treks and would love to do a longer trek again with Aphut. I would recommend anyone to visit Nepal and use Nepal Social Treks.Show more

The final payment of the remaining balance is required at least 30 days prior to the departure date of your tour. TourRadar never charges you a booking fee and will charge you in the stated currency.
