  New Delhi is an experience that hits you in the face from the moment you get into the city, and the best way to do it I’ve found is through a tour such as this one - having Raju drive me around there and beyond in an air conditioned car with his ever helpful and constant supply of water was very much appreciated. The coolness of that car was a very welcome reprieve. Karan was very good at guiding me around Delhi, and was very knowledgeable, and was patient with my photography. Dalip, the guide for Agra was just as good there also. His experience of where tourists like to take photographs from came in handy. Rajesh in Jaipur, again, a fountain of knowledge, even on topics outside of Jaipur, and provided plenty of information. On a side note, it was Prince Albert Edward, not Prince Albert, consort of the Queen that visited. His father Prince Albert had been dead quite a few years at that point so would have found visiting Jaipur challenging! The hotels were great, Delhi and Agra were surprisingly quiet considering their location, which was really handy. The one for Ranthambhore was very pleasant, comfortable, and scenic. The tour covers all the key sights with enough time that even when I linger for photographs there was time. The Taj Mahal is sobering you need to see in person no matter how many photographs you see. The tigers were fantastic too! The way the tigers work is they book a zone for each safari, and will be either Gypsy or Canter. Zone 3 felt the most picturesque so understandable it books up quickly.   My friend Kirsty and I have just returned from an amazing 8-day Golden Triangle tour of India, and from start to finish the entire experience was absolutely fantastic. We travelled through Delhi, Agra and Jaipur, and also went on safari, which was one of the highlights of the trip. We were incredibly lucky to see tigers, which made the experience even more unforgettable. A very special mention has to go to our driver, Mr Ram Kumar, who was outstanding throughout the whole tour. He was so hospitable, friendly, professional and accommodating to all of our needs. Nothing was ever too much trouble for him. He kept us informed every step of the way, answered all of our endless questions, and made us feel safe, comfortable and relaxed throughout the journey. We also really appreciated the thoughtful touches, such as having water provided at every stop, which was especially welcome in the heat and showed how well organised the tour was. Every local guide we had was brilliant – so knowledgeable, informative and passionate about the places we visited. We learned so much about all the temples, landmarks and history in each area, which made the tour even more special. All of the hotels we stayed in were excellent, each with their own unique charm and character, which added something special to the whole experience. Having breakfast included each morning was also a lovely bonus and made everything even easier and more enjoyable. Overall, this was an incredibly well-organised, stress-free and memorable trip. We had the most wonderful time and would highly recommend this tour company to anyone thinking of booking a tour of India. Don’t delay – book it! You won’t regret it. Our driver, Mr. Singh, we cannot say enough about him. We had an amazing experience of our tour thanks to our driver. He was very professional, friendly and made sure we were comfortable and safe. He's driving skills were flawless through extremely heavy traffic. Our tour wouldn't have been the same without him. Highly recommend him for any driving while in India. The Taj Mahal Tour-From the start, Vivek was very professional, friendly, and incredibly organized, instantly making us feel comfortable and excite for the day ahead. I booked the 8 day Golden triangle with ranthambore tiger safari tour from Delhi. Each day had 1 thing planned, but I wanted my dad to be able to experience a little extra for his birthday, since he had never been to india. I requested to add a couple of locations to our trip, which they willingly did for us, and provided Tour guides for each. I greatly appreciated how they made this a special birthday for us both. I would also like to shout out Ranpal, who was an amazing driver. Not only for driving the 15 hours round trip but also to all our destinations. He was always on time or early for pickups. He helped us check into the hotels, answered all our questions, made sure we always had enough water with us and even helped us with small errands or spontaneous stops. His commitment went far beyond the usual - we felt completely at ease and safe. We were accompanied by a different German-speaking guide in each city. All of them were very competent, spoke excellent German and impressed us with their extensive knowledge of the impressive monuments and the long history of India. They also informed us about the country's diverse culture and religion. They also protected us from overly pushy salespeople and diligently took photos of us at the most beautiful places - perfect memories included. They were always eager to support us and fulfill our wishes immediately. The trip was excellently organized by Joyful Holidays, a women-run company that works with local suppliers and places particular emphasis on safety and comfort - especially for women travelling alone.
