- ValnChief· October 14th, 2025I have been on many tours all over the globe and this "tour guide" was the absolute worst! He was rude, condescending, abrupt and outright hostile to the entire group. We all knew on day one that this was going to be quite the unusual trip when he stated, "we are not your enemies". What on earth was he talking about we wondered?? Soon we found out that he was not going to make any recommendations regarding places to eat, sites to see, etc. Instead, he responded with "you know best" which of course we did not having never been to these countries/cities. On more than one occasion I witnessed him getting into verbal confrontations with guests and then discussing the incident in front of others to humiliate them. Also, he would get off of the bus and proceed to light a cigarette while talking with guests which most found offensive. I would strongly encourage you to obtain the name of the tour guide before booking and if it is Alex, DO NOT BOOK!Show moreTrip date: September 2025
- OOdi· June 29th, 2024The trip itinerary was fantastic. Tour guide and driver was Vladimir, very energetic, fun, and became one of us. We enjoyed his company very much. He was flexible, and the trip was not too physically difficult. We left each morning at 9 am and got to the towns around 4 or 5 pm. Our group had only 6 people, so it was very intimate a cozy in a new van. Hotels were fantastic as well EXCEPT that 3 of them did not have working air condition during our stay (in Ochrid and two other locations), this made 3 sleeping nights miserable, especially since when you opened the window, there were loud noises all night long, so could not sleep. We reported it to George the trip organizer, and hopefully, they will check if a/c is working BEFORE each group leaves. Local guides in each city were true expertsShow moreTrip date: May 2024
- JPJames· May 3rd, 2023Felt the van was very uncomfortable being packed full. With no audio system people in the back could rarely hear the tour descriptions. Very unorganized hotel stays with other tour companies copies of passports are pre-sent with names of people staying so check ins are easy.. never happened here. We skipped some tour sites, started too late on long days. One hotel was not good. My list of complaints could go on and on.
