We are planning a trip to peru in July, I am looking at your tour starting the 3rd July, we would arrive in Cusco on 2nd July I am considering booking a hotel in sacred valley the first night to help adjust to the altitude. If we booked this trip would it be possible to get picked up from there instead on cusco airport on 3rd July. Would you also be able to help with booking hotel i sacred valley, and transport. I am also thinking to upgrade the train to vistadome what time of day would the train be, I want to see if its dark already then it might not be worth the upgrade?

Please note that the private guided $45 usd service via Circuit 1 has an additional cost, as the group guiding service is only available through Circuit 2. The extra USD 25 corresponds to the entrance ticket for Circuit 1A – Machu Picchu Mountain, since this ticket is more expensive than the standard Machu Picchu entrance. At the moment, this is the only circuit available for the date you requested, as the other circuits are already sold out.

We're considering taking this tour in either April or October. It looks like the tour starts and ends in Cusco, but we want to make sure so that we can price flights. Start and finish in the same city?

The tour indeed starts and ends in the city of Cusco. There are very few spaces left on Circuit 1 for April, so I would recommend booking as soon as possible if you wish to visit this wonder during April.

Which Circuit of Machu Picchu will be available in the tours starting from 29th April to 4th May 2026? Is it Circuit 2?

Is there a consistent group during the tour or are we going to join other groups?

Is it too late to book this trip any date in September 2026? Is it too late to book to enter Machu Picchu Mountain entrance ticket or the Huayna Picchu entrance ticket? Also does the tour guide walk you up to top of Machu Picchu or do we do this ourselves?

We bought the 7 day tour, but we were able to have free days, particularly between Rainbow Mountain and Humantay Lake as these were very early starts and long days. The road to Humantay Lake was closed and we were offered a trip to the 7 lakes and the views coming back down were incredible. Very good communication from David at Kantu Tours, who was always very prompt in replying and very knowledgeable and helpful.   I was trying to book a tour for 4 adults and 2 children but for some reason it only allows me to book a tour for 4 adults. First time it asked me for children information, but second time it did not. I want to make sure that children are included in a tour or there is a reason i cannot add children? They are 10 and 12.

We are planning a trip to peru in July, I am looking at your tour starting the 3rd July, we would arrive in Cusco on 2nd July I am considering booking a hotel in sacred valley the first night to help adjust to the altitude. If we booked this trip would it be possible to get picked up from there instead on cusco airport on 3rd July. Would you also be able to help with booking hotel i sacred valley, and transport. I am also thinking to upgrade the train to vistadome what time of day would the train be, I want to see if its dark already then it might not be worth the upgrade?

Does the Circut 1A include a guided tour? Is the price of $25 just for the entry? What's included in $45 price? Is there another way of getting inside of the citadel? I'd like to visit the Temple of Condor. Will switching days help?

  Please note that the private guided $45 usd service via Circuit 1 has an additional cost, as the group guiding service is only available through Circuit 2. The extra USD 25 corresponds to the entrance ticket for Circuit 1A – Machu Picchu Mountain, since this ticket is more expensive than the standard Machu Picchu entrance. At the moment, this is the only circuit available for the date you requested, as the other circuits are already sold out.

  You will be able to enter to the citadel, but just for the upper part like a viewpoint. But is not allowed to enter to the urban area. Circuit 1A – Machu Picchu Mountain: This circuit allows access to the upper part of Machu Picchu, where you can enjoy the iconic panoramic view of the citadel and take the classic photo. Please note that this option does not include entry into the main citadel and is primarily designed as a scenic viewpoint.

We're considering taking this tour in either April or October. It looks like the tour starts and ends in Cusco, but we want to make sure so that we can price flights. Start and finish in the same city?

  The tour indeed starts and ends in the city of Cusco. There are very few spaces left on Circuit 1 for April, so I would recommend booking as soon as possible if you wish to visit this wonder during April.

  Regarding your preferred travel dates from April 29th to May 4th, 2026, please note that Circuit 2 is currently completely sold out. At the moment, the only circuit available for those dates is Circuit 1.
  The earliest availability for Circuit 2 is around mid-June.
  If you would like, we can secure Circuit 1 for your dates, which still allows you to enjoy the beautiful panoramic views of Machu Picchu and take the classic photos of the citadel.

Is it too late to book this trip any date in September 2026? Is it too late to book to enter Machu Picchu Mountain entrance ticket or the Huayna Picchu entrance ticket? Also does the tour guide walk you up to top of Machu Picchu or do we do this ourselves?

For tours departing after July 3rd, 2026, a minimum payment of 50% is required to confirm your booking with Kantu Peru Tours. The final payment will be automatically charged to your credit card on the designated due date. The final payment of the remaining balance is required at least 60 days prior to the departure date of your tour. TourRadar never charges you a booking fee and will charge you in the stated currency.
