    The hike for humantay lake takes aproximately 2 hours to go up and 2 hours to go down.
    
    The hike for Rainbow mountain take 1 hour to go up and 40 minutes to go down.

    Is it the entire month of October that is sold out for the Classic Circuit of Machu Picchu? Also if i come i want the extra night to be at the same hotel that I am staying at for the tour so i dont need to change after that first extra night.
    Also if i am going by myself, do you room 2 people together, like in a double occupancy room or do i have to get a solo room for the higher price?

    For October, the Classic Circuit is sold out.
    
    Circuit 2 is available from November 30 onward.
    
    If you book the extra night, you will be able to stay in the same room. 
    
    Please make sure to select the single room option when booking.

    Is Circuit 1B going to be for everyone on the tour? And you said that costs an additional $30USD? Going into the main citadel is what is sold out?
    
    Also solo travelers cant room with other travelers?

    For the dates you requested, the only circuit available is Circuit 1B, which will be with a private guide just for you.
    
    Circuit 2, which is the classic circuit, is sold out for October.
    
    Regarding the accommodation, if you are traveling solo, the available option is a single room. Unfortunately, we do not have the option to share a room with other travelers.

    What is the weather usually like in the middle to end of October. So i know what kind of clothes/shoes to wear and bring during the trip.
    
    Also, how much spending money is average to bring with for food, souvenirs,, and any other activites.

    If you’re traveling to Cusco in mid-to-late October, plan for mild/warm afternoons, chilly mornings and evenings, and a possibility of rain. October is when the rainy season is starting to return, and the chance of rain tends to increase toward the end of the month.
    
    Daytime: generally comfortable—often around 65–72°F (18–22°C), especially when the sun is out.
    Morning/night: noticeably cool, roughly 40–47°F (4–8°C).
    Rain: showers are possible, particularly later in October, so don't assume every day will be dry.
    Sun: The high-altitude sun can feel surprisingly strong even when the air is cool.
    
    The key is layers rather than bringing one heavy coat.
    
    For daytime sightseeing:
    T-shirts or lightweight long-sleeve shirts
    Lightweight pants/jeans
    Comfortable walking shoes or sneakers
    Light sweater/fleece that you can take off when it warms up
    
    For mornings & evenings:
    Fleece or warm sweater
    Lightweight puffer/down jacket or warm jacket
    Long pants
    Warm socks
    
    For rain:
    Lightweight rain jacket/shell
    Small umbrella if you like
    Something water-resistant for your backpack
    
    I'd bring two pairs if you have room:
    Comfortable walking/hiking shoes with good traction — most important.
    A second pair of sneakers/walking shoes, preferably somewhat water-resistant, in case the first pair gets wet.
    
    I would estimate:
    Food: $20–35 per day
    Snacks/drinks/coffee: $5–10 per day
    Souvenirs/shopping: $75–150 total
    Tips/small expenses: $30–50
    Emergency cushion: $50–100
    
    $400–$500 per person would be a comfortable amount.

    I am guessing the weather though for Machu Picchu will be like 10-15 degrees cooler than Cusco since that is higher elevation. Also the groups are nice but i know for Machu Picchu i will be solo per what you told me earlier. And I can use credit cards too since its not always cash i am guessing.
    
    When i book online, is that when i pay for the extra room and any extra activities like the private guide that costs 30USD?
    
    Also do i have to get 2 star hotels or is there 3?

    2-star: USD 55
    3-star: USD 90

    Accommodation in Cusco: 
    Yes, after spending one night at a hotel in Aguas Calientes during the tour, the traveller will return to the same hotel in Cusco.
    
    Circuit 1B: 
    Circuit 1B requires a private guided tour at Machu Picchu. The cost for the private guide is USD 30.
    
    If the traveller chooses not to visit Machu Picchu: 
    They can spend the day exploring or relaxing in Aguas Calientes.
    
    Availability for October 19: 
    Unfortunately, we do not have availability for the departure on October 19. 
    
    We have availability starting October 20, with Circuit 1B – Upper Terrace at Machu Picchu.

  I see this tour goes to machu picchu but does not include the machu picchu mountain ticket. If I buy the mountain ticket will i be able to trek to machu picchu mountain on the same day that the tour goes to machu picchu? or would I have to organise myself to visit machu picchu mountain outside of this tour?

    1. Circuit 1B – Panoramic Viewpoint
    This circuit provides access to the upper part of Machu Picchu, where you can enjoy the iconic panoramic views of the citadel and take the classic photo. Please note that this option does not include access to the main citadel and is primarily designed as a scenic viewpoint.
    
    This circuit requires a private guide, with an additional cost of USD 30 per person.
