Itinerary

Day 1
Cusco to Aguas Calientes
Your hotel pickup happens at 8:00 AM, then you'll head to Chinchero where there's an archaeological site to walk through, a colonial church to see, and a handicraft market if you want to browse. From there, drive to Moray to check out those distinctive circular farming terraces, and stop by Maras as well. Lunch comes with views of the mountains, which is nice. Later in the afternoon, you'll see the salt ponds at Salineras before heading to Ollantaytambo to explore both the town and the archaeological sites there. After dinner, you'll take the train to Aguas Calientes for the night.

Machu Picchu
Following breakfast at the hotel, you'll take the buses up to Machu Picchu early in the day. A guided tour lasts about 3 hours and covers the temples, palaces, terraces, and plazas. After that, you'll have free time to walk around the citadel on your own. Later you'll ride the bus back down to Aguas Calientes, then board the Expedition train heading back to Cusco, pulling into your hotel around 7:30 PM.

The final payment of the remaining balance is required at least 6 days prior to the departure date of your tour. TourRadar never charges you a booking fee and will charge you in the stated currency.
