Dublin

You're heading into the Irish countryside to hit several significant spots. The day starts at a racehorse breeding centre with 100-year-old Japanese Gardens, then moves on to medieval Kilkenny Castle from 1195. You'll pass by 13th-century Cahir Castle before reaching Cork, where your Travel Director shows you the waterfront and Georgian architecture.

Start at Blarney Castle if you want to kiss the famous stone, then cross the Derrynasaggart Mountains heading to Killarney. That evening you're having an Irish farm-to-table dinner at the 19th Green Guesthouse with John and Freda, who use locally sourced ingredients in their cooking.

After that, you're driving the Ring of Kerry past mountains, valleys, lakes and coastal cliffs, stopping in villages like Sneem and Moll's Gap. The afternoon is free to cycle or explore on your own.

Killarney - Dingle Peninsula - Tarbert - Ennistymon
From Killarney you're heading to the Dingle Peninsula on the scenic Slea Head Drive, passing windswept cliffs, golden beaches and ancient stone dwellings with views toward the Blasket Islands. Later you catch a ferry at Tarbert across the Shannon Estuary to Killimer, watching for bottlenose dolphins. Then you continue to Ennistymon with its traditional shopfronts and river falls.

You visit the Cliffs of Moher Visitor Centre for views of the 214-meter-high cliffs along the Clare Coast. From there you drive through the rocky landscape of the Burren heading toward Galway Bay. Once you arrive, you'll see the Lynch Memorial, Collegiate Church of St. Nicholas, the Spanish Arch and Eyre Square.

Galway - Derry/Londonderry
You're crossing into Northern Ireland while admiring the Blue Stack Mountains of Donegal. In the walled city of Derry/Londonderry, Ronan, a storyteller known throughout Northern Ireland, takes you inside the city walls still topped with cannons. You'll walk Shipquay Street with its Georgian houses and visit the Gothic Guildhall.

You're exploring the Giant's Causeway, a UNESCO World Heritage Site with thousands of interlocking basalt columns. After that you drive the scenic Antrim Coast Road with dramatic cliffs, arriving in Ballygally at your castle hotel overlooking the bay. If you're interested, there's a Ghost Room hidden in one of the turrets. Later there's a final evening gathering for warm hospitality and regional cuisine.

Your tour ends with departure transfers to Belfast airports. You'll stop first at George Best Belfast City Airport, then continue to Belfast International Airport. The drive between the two takes roughly 45 minutes.
