Itinerary
- Day 1
Windhoek to Sossusvlei
Your guide picks you up from the hotel in Windhoek early in the morning and goes over the tour details before you head out. From there, you'll drive through the Namib Desert, which takes several hours but the landscape shifts gradually as you move deeper into the dunes. By late afternoon you'll reach your lodge and settle in for the night, giving you time to rest up before the main activities.

- Day 2
Namib Naukluft National Park
This is an early start kind of day. You'll head into Namib Naukluft National Park right after breakfast and spend the day hitting the major spots. The itinerary includes Dune 45 where you can climb for photos, then Dead Vlei with its white salt pan and dead trees, followed by Big Daddy which is the highest dune in the area. After that comes Sossusvlei itself and Sesriem Canyon before you head back to the lodge. It's a full day of driving and walking, so bring water and wear good shoes.

- Day 3
Sossusvlei to Windhoek
You'll start driving back toward Windhoek in the morning, heading through some beautiful terrain. Along the way there's a stop in Solitaire where you can grab supplies or a snack before continuing. The drive takes you through Spreetshoogte Pass, which has some nice views during the journey. You should pull into your hotel in Windhoek by lunchtime, wrapping up the tour.
