We appreciate you sharing your travel plans with us and will be happy to answer any questions you may have. I have attached the trip notes which list the planned hotels we use on this trip. It says "or similar" in case there is a change but normally the ones listed are the we use.

How many people are already booked in the October trip?

We have one place left for this departure so I would recommend you to hurry up.

Is it possible for me to join the Patagonia+Iguazu tour in Buenos Aires on a different date, as I will be coming off an Antarctica trip in Punto arenas and will have to get a flight to Buenos Aires via Santiago? I have already toured Buenos Aires.

We are holding a space for you on a Twin share basis. We arrange the internal flights for you. Optional activities and entrance fees are additional and can be pre-booked or paid locally.

Is it possible to get this same excursion of 17 days, max 18 people, in SPANISH?

The tour leaders that we use, are local and would come from Argentina. However, the trip would not be in Spanish - but in English, as we are a UK based Adventure Travel Company.

There were so many! Extra special moments included waking up to the most spectacular view of Torres del Paine from our cabin accommodation. The peaks had been partly shrouded in cloud when we arrived, but were revealed against a solid blue sky the next morning. The other really memorable moment was seeing the amazing colours of the Perito Moreno Glacier from the boat. The other thing that made the trip exception was our brilliant tour guide Marcello, and the fantastic group of people we travelled with.Show more

  El Chaltén: whether it's possible to include longer or alternative hikes such as Loma del Pliegue Tumbado or Cerro Solo, in addition to (or instead of) shorter options, depending on weather and group ability.
  
  Torres del Paine: whether there is flexibility to add longer day hikes or partial O-Circuit–style day sections, rather than only the standard viewpoints, if the group is strong and conditions permit.
  
  Lago Nordenskjöld / Paine area: interest in longer day hikes or additional viewpoints beyond the basic routes, where feasible.
  
  I'm mainly trying to understand what options might be available for stronger hikers. I'm comfortable with long hiking days (8–9 hours) and have experience with sustained elevation gain in mountain terrain.

  Additionally, there is built in free time to allow you the flexibility to choose from a carefully selected range of additional excursions and activities:
  
  Day 7: Torres Del Paine - Base Torres trek - US$185
  
  Day 8: Torres Del Paine - Boat trip to visit Serrano River and glacier - US$ 195
  
  Day 10: El Calafate - Perito Moreno Ice Trek (please note health restrictions apply to this trek, including an upper age limit of 65 due to Glaciares National Park regulations) - £485 including transport - this should be pre-paid at time of booking and is non-refundable. Boat trip to Glacier face - US$70
  
  Day 11: El Chalten - Lago Del Desierto and Vespignani Glacier Boat and Hike US$126
  
  Optional excursions can be paid in either USD cash or Argentinian Pesos, at the daily exchange rate. At Torres del Paine, payment is only accepted in USD, and the hotel charges a 19% interest on the use of Chilean Pesos.

Payment information
- For any tour departing before May 29th, 2026 a full payment is necessary. For tours departing after May 29th, 2026, a minimum payment of 10% is required to confirm your booking with Explore!. The final payment will be automatically charged to your credit card on the designated due date. The final payment of the remaining balance is required at least 75 days prior to the departure date of your tour. TourRadar never charges you a booking fee and will charge you in the stated currency.
