We are planning our trip to Machu Picchu and then the amazon rainforest. We will be traveling to Puerto Maldonado. We have a couple of questions: 1. If we land at 12:45pm, will this be ok for starting the tour on the same day? 2. What time will we be returned back to the airport on the final day?

When you arrive in PEM, we'll pick you up and transfer start the tour immediately the same day. Usually this tour ends between 5pm; but if you have an early flight we can organize the transfer to the airport.

It was a great experience overall. The guides were good. On the 5 day, it's quite an interruption to switch locations - I wonder if this could be made smoother. There is also the issue of illegal mining right alongside the Tambopata lodge, and the lodge is deforesting land itself for a banana plantation - we'd hope there would be ways to resolve this, and really steer the lodge into being a force for good in the environment. It would be ideal to add a few extra clothes lines for guests.Show more

  We are planning to book a return flight from PEM airport at 16:40pm. We would need to be at the airport at 14:00pm. Will it be possible to be dropped at the airport for 14:00pm? Would we still get to do the canopy walk and have breakfast in the morning before leaving? Do you have availability for 2 people from 24th July to 28th July?
