How difficult is the hike? My husband and I are quite active age 60 & 68. However when we hike, especially going uphill we take short breaks often - do you think we should attempt this?

1° day: Biking activity during 2 hours we can do it slow according to your availability. Optional: Rafting activity during 2 hours more at the end transportation to your Hotel in Santa Teresa. 2° day: transportation take you to Hydroelectric from where you'll start a hike during 3 hours for a flat way from the train way until you arrive to Aguas Calientes town. Optional: Zipline activity early morning in Santa Teresa. 3° day: This day your visit Machu Picchu. You can hike uphill and downhill or take the bus round trip per US$ 24.00

Is it possible to book this for the 14th? I am an airline employee and am not sure if I will arrive to Lima and Cusco until Tuesday.

We don't have groups on 14th May, but you can join a group departing on 16th May (4 days). For Machu Picchu entrances, we have limited daily spots and need to wait in line at the Aguas Calientes office.

Could you give us more details about when we will buy the entrance ticket. Tickets are sold for a visit to Machu Picchu the following day. How are we going to follow the group, knowing that on the morning of the 2nd day of the tour we are not in Aguas Calientes and that on the morning of the 3rd day, we are scheduled to watch the sunrise at Machu Picchu?

Are the ticket to entry the Machu Picchu included? In the Pdf it's written that they are include in the price but on the website it's written that it's not included. Do you have more information please?

Is the 3 hour hike a easy, moderate or difficult climb? Is the entrance price to Machu Picchu included in the trip price? My daughter, who is coming on this trip, is studying a university in Lima - do you offer a discount for university students.

The hike is moderate, for students there is a discount of $20 usd with the card, the entrance to Machupicchu is included, For Machupicchu there are only 50 spaces left, I recommend to reserve as soon as possible. Many times it is about helping clients with extreme problems such as when they miss flights and in the process miss tours, income, transportation and hotels booked. Since you missed your flight we helped you to keep your reservation without charging NO SHOW; according to the reservation policies there are no cancellations. From the beginning, you tried to look for squares in all your trip, the bites are from mosquitoes, this type of ants bite not sting. Also, you went to Cocalmayo in the morning where there are many mosquitoes and it is suggested to use repellent and not leave your things lying around, which you did and took ants among your things to the hotel. There was nothing in the bed. Also, it seems to us that the transfer is new since he did not want to take it. You were complaining about your train changes (INCA RAIL charges penalties for late changes) which was also helped. We appreciate that you are looking for us to listen and make untruthful comments. I highly recommend going for this 3 day tour if you have limited time to spend in Peru, and signing up for all the extras is very worth it! This tour was filled with very fun activities, including downhill biking, white-water rafting, zip-lining, hot springs, and of course hiking up/down Machu Picchu. Lodging was surprisingly extremely good as well! Our tour guide set us up with private hotel rooms for both nights, each with private bathrooms. Everything about this tour was superb and adventurous!   In our package is include entrance to Machupicchu. Now on may, entrance are sold out in the main system but we can find some additional entrances selling in the principal office in Aguas calientes town where youll go with the guide to get one For the next day, we are going to to pay for it.

  About this entrance to Machu Picchu on the second day you follow the guide from Aguas Calientes to Aguas Calientes then you go direclty to the main office of Culture Ministry where you'll wait in a line with other people where you can recieve a piece of paper with a number and then get your entrance to Machu Picchu according to the circuit available and schedule available, too. If you can get an early entrance you can have the option to watch the sunrise. consider that during this last week many travellers are arriving in Cusco and trying to get entrances so the line is a litlle large and probably you get tired waiting there; but all our staff will be helping you.
