How much would extra night before tour start cost?

We could book extra night in Reykjavik at same hotel as tour. Price depends on budget or comfort.

Is there an option to add on snow mobile, dog sled activities?

Unfortunately there is not time in the actual tour to do extra activities. However, it is very possible to book a pre or post night to be able to do the extra activities before or after the tour. The extra activity would not be booked through us but the pre or post night are. If you are interested in a pre or post night let me know since they are on request and I have to check the availability.

Just like to query how easy meal arrangements will be to make on the 25th. As a solo traveller just want to ensure I'll be able to find somewhere to eat!!

The restaurant at the hotel we use on the tour has been open in the past years. We assume that it will be open this year.

Yes, you could add extra nights. Would you like them pre- or post tour? Please provide us with the dates and how many extra nights you would like.

Are there any discount for children? Can you confirm that it will be two rooms? What are the hotels used for this accommodation?

Our children discount is for children between 8-11 years old. Since the child is 14 there is unfortunately no discount. The discount is also only applied when the child between 8-11 years old is in a room with 2 adults. The hotels in the budget category are Hotel Cabin and Arhus cottages. The hotels in the comfort category are Hotel Klettur and Stracta Hotel.

What is additional service? Do you have to pay for it? Any additional fee or hidden fee?

There are no hidden fees, everything that is mentioned in the program is included in the price. The only thing that is extra and not included are lunch and dinner and then there is an optional glacier hike that is also not included in the tour price.

We want to do this trip in 2023....when do you think we can get prices/confirmation?

The prices are as follows: Single room budget version: 1180 EUR per person, Double room budget version: 970 EUR per person, Single room comfort version: 1650 EUR per person, Double room comfort version: 1270 EUR per person

how much winter clothing do you need? What are the meal options for lunches and non supplied dinners?

Regarding how to dress while on the tour I would recommend you to take a look at our travel tips. Regarding other meals that are not included on the tour people usually choose to have dinner at the hotel while staying outside of Reykjavik. While in Reykjavik you will have plenty of restaurants to choose from. For lunch, the guide will stop for lunch along the way at restaurants.

I wanted to give it an Excellent review but because the room at Hotel Cabin was so tiny and hard to maneuver around that I had to bump it down one notch. Everything else was excellent. Martina and Franz were fantastic. The other travelers were friendly and we all made unforgettable memories. And even though some of the attractions were closed during the snow storm, I did not mind it at all. The restaurants we went to were fabulous and the entrees were delicious and mouthwatering. It was a wonderful experience for the tour, except for the hotel room.Show more
