The trip was thoughtfully organized and allowed us to enjoy the country at a relaxed pace while still seeing an incredible variety of places. Our guide, Indika Silva, made the journey truly special. He was warm, professional, and extremely knowledgeable, sharing stories and background at each location and taking us to local spots we never would have found on our own. He was also very accommodating when we wanted to adjust plans along the way and consistently went above and beyond to make sure we were comfortable and well cared for. The next time we are in Sri Lanka, we will definitely ask him to be our guide again! The itinerary struck a great balance, and the hotels recommended were comfortable and conveniently located. The only downside was the vehicle—it fit our luggage but felt a bit tight for a week-long trip. For longer tours, we’d suggest requesting a larger vehicle (an SUV such as Toyota Raize, Honda Vezel/HR-V, and Suzuki Vitara) for added comfort. Overall, the trip exceeded our expectations. The tour was really well put together and each of the activities was fun and engaging. It's hard to even pick a favourite because we enjoyed it all so much. The activities were varied and included things we never thought of doing but really enjoyed. It was also a great way to see some of the highlights of Sri Lanka when we wouldn't have known what they were ourselves. The hotels were good as well (we chose the standard/budget option). Staff were very friendly and provided most of what we needed. The breakfast at each place was top notch as well (especially the Kandyan Villa). Although the main highlight of our tour experience was our incredible guide Wasi! He was clearly very experienced and was helpful and informative at every opportunity. We felt in such safe hands (including thanks to his great driving) and it really felt like he wanted to help us have the best trip we could. He always made sure that we knew what to do and it felt like he went the extra mile. We couldn't be happier with him as our driver and our trip would have been much less fun without him! Overall, we had an incredible time and definitely thought the tour was worth the money. It feels such a shame to only have had 7 days in Sri Lanka, and with Wasi's great company. We'll miss it and definitely recommend Beauty Sri Lanka tours to our friends! Although given the recent floods, pretty much all areas of Sri Lanka are safe to travel. Hotels got progressively worse throughout the stay and every stop on the itinerary you pay for so all youre getting from the tour price is a driver and guide (which was nice) and someone else to pick out hotels you may not like. However, please note that you will miss the first day's activities, which include the Dambulla Cave Temple visit and the safari. For the Ayurvedic experience, may I know how many days or how many hours you are interested in?
