Yes this is a guided group. 2 guides with max 8 participants. Most of our guests come as solo travelers and join the group.

What happens if I've booked a tour that changed its schedule and price?

If there are any updates to the tour's schedule or price after your booking, we will notify you to approve the changes. You can reach out to us via the Ask a Question button for more details.

Do you create custom adventure trips for 1-2 days? We are 7 active adults and two 4 yo.

While our trips encompass hotel transportation and accommodations, we don't facilitate separate day trips. However, we encourage you to explore the comprehensive experiences each adventure offers, ensuring you have plenty of enriching activities included.

Can I join a tour later in the season after September?

Currently, we do not have departures scheduled post-September, but keep an eye out as we may update this depending on how earlier departures fill up.

My wife and I are avid kayakers. We have kayaked throughout the U.S. and Canada. We are in our 70s and generally kayak for 2-4 hours on flat water lakes and rivers. We don't enjoy choppy 2- or 3-foot waves at sea. Is this tour suitable for us?

The paddling conditions in our area is somewhere in between what you are describing. It's more similar to a large lake than the open sea. No currents, no tides, no big swells since the islands break up wind and waves. It can def get windy and choppy sometimes, but you and the group have lots of flexibility. It will be a lot more sheltered closer to the mainland and more exposed out towards the open sea. You'll be paddling around 3-5 hours per day, but with lots of breaks. Our tours are a lot more about experiencing beautiful nature and enjoying each other's company, than pushing long distances.

Would you assist with providing waterproof bags or leave the suitcase at a particular destination?

You get to repack all your personal items into dry bags at our launch, and we store your luggage and anything else you don't wish to bring with kayaking safely at our base. We bring your luggage to your end point on your last day.

Can people who cannot swim to do this tour. If yes, what precautions do you do for those individuals

We usually have ability to swim as a requirement to do the trip.

What is the typical age range of participants on the tours?

We do not specifically ask for ages, but most of our guests are usually between 25-40 years old.

Are the tours suitable for travelers who cannot swim?

For safety reasons, the ability to swim is a requirement for our tours.

Is there a minimum number of guests required for the tours?

Yes, there used to be a minimum requirement of 2 guests for the tours, but you can join a larger group if you are traveling alone.

The equipment was easy to use and the information given by Thomas was clear and he made it sound simple.The menus and food all planned by Helena were amazing ...she is a goddess. We loved helping prepare the food and developed great teamwork which made it all a lot of fun with plenty of laughing.What can I say about where we paddled...I was awestruck by the geological history of the area,it was so beautiful.The guidebook provided had good information and of course Thomas was a fount of information and new the islands well.I never felt outside my " comfort zone" on the water .I absolutely loved it.
