You can add an optional experience for wine tasting and fondue experiences during the tour with your Travel Director. This itinerary includes scenic train experiences such as the Cogwheel train (Taesch–Zermatt) and the Scenic Swiss Rail Journey, offering breathtaking views of the Alps. Several hotels on this tour may offer spa services. Your Travel Director can assist in arranging a spa day or treatments if it fits the schedule.

The average group size for this tour is 33 guests and maximum of 40 guests. We have an Optional Experience 'Rail Journey Over The Bernina Pass' which you may book through the Travel Director on tour.

This tour will visit three countries with different weather. In Switzerland around September, the weather is neither too warm nor too cold therefore, this is a great time to travel. In Italy, it's recommended to visit during the early fall (September-October) when the weather is pleasant. Lastly, in Liechtenstein, the weather from September to October is pleasant and less crowded.

Just checking that there are no October 2023 tours, Geneva to Zurich.

We don't generally run this trip after September each year so the 24 September 2023 departure would be the last one for that season.

The itinerary was well-balanced, with the right blend of organized sightseeing with free time to wander and explore. We had a great group of travellers from all over the world, and Martin, our travel director, was an expert host. There were so many highlights, and this is a dream trip for anyone who loves spectacular scenery, explored by train, cruise and luxury coach.Show more

What a terrific journey! The trip includes visits to Geneva, Montreux, Zermatt, Baveno, St. Moritz, Liechtenstein and Lucerne. Glacial lakes, stunning mountains and beautiful scenery everywhere you look! One of my favourite experiences was the Glacier Express, through the heart of the Swiss Alps. Martin was our superb Travel Director, and he was an incredible force as he acted as host, and organized even the smallest details. Wandering through the mountains surrounding Zermatt in my free time was a memory I will appreciate forever. A fantastic journey, done in impressive style!Show more

The coach was quite comfortable and we felt very safe with our very capable driver, but less comfortable with the beds in the 4 star hotels, which also needed some cleaning attention in some. The meals paid for within the tour left much to be improved upon, tiny and bland, this includes the optional choices. The guide would not have known who we were by the end of the tour. She was very impersonal, but knew her favorites. Guess it doesn't pay to be a quiet couple. Show more
