Do you have a 10-day or 12-day Peru tour starting between the 10th or 12th of May? We may be either 2 or 3 adults on this tour. What are the best tour-options you have for somebody who is coming to Peru for the 1st time? What are the important places to see in Peru? How difficult will this tour be physically? Will 60 year old in moderate/average physical fitness be able to do it? Can you provide vegetarian and vegan food?

Yes this INCA Journey would be fine for a 1st time traveller to Peru. All of trip us in early May are on request. the first date we can confirm 2 or 3 people would be 29th May. Machu Pichu & Amazon Jungle are the must seas, so this trip will cover both of them for you. This trip is rated a grade 3, which is possible for anyone with a reasonable level of fitness, although it is at high altitude, but most people are ok after a day in the area. Vegetarian and vegan meals are available, but we do recommend to bring suitable snacks along with you.

Is it a better price through tourradar? We have been on gadventures before, is there a discount? How much deposit is required?

The price will be the same at $3449 per person in February of 2026. The deposit required is 20% so this will be 689.80 per person to confirm the tour. If you have travelled with G Adventures in the past and filled out the evaluation for your last tour you are eligible for a 5% discount.

Do you do customized tours?

We do not offer customized trips, our tours are based on pre set itineraries and come as a packaged tour.

How many people will be on my tour?

The group size can vary. Typically, our tours have between 10 to 15 participants to maintain a personalized experience.

Do the tickets for the Machu Picchu excursion need to be purchased separately. How would we select which circuit we wanted to do

The Machu Picchu tickets are included in the tour price and will be arranged by our local office and the CEO. The group will be doing the exact same circuit and that circuit is determined by availability.

What is the procedure if there is an emergency during the tour?

What forms of payment are accepted?

We accept various forms of payment including credit cards, debit cards, and electronic payments.

I never had to guess what the itinerary is for each day because everything is thoroughly explained. The group is small enough that everyone got to learn about each other. I still keep in touch with some of the people in my group. Peru is such a beautiful country. Machu Picchu is a place that had been on my bucket list. Seeing it in person was awesome! The Rainbow Mountain hike was pretty challenging but was definitely worth it. Staying in a beautiful lodge in the Amazon jungle was so fun. We didn't get to see any anaconda but we saw many other animals. The food in Peru is diverse and delicious. Maracuya sour is a must-have. I can't say enough about how fun and memorable this trip had been. Thank you Washington (our tour guide)!Show more

Trip and organization were good. The only problem we had was because of our age and ability to keep up with the younger crowd. We were always last to arrive and thus missed out on some conversations and comments as well as always in the back of the bus. As the week went on other guests helped and saved places on the bus. We enjoyed the trip and realized we probably need to find trips that are not so jamb packed with an itenery and a slower pace with an older group.Show more

I enjoyed this tour of Peru, including the Amazon jungle. Prior to the tour I did have some issues with G adventures who were running the tour, as their booking page was not very transparent about the accomodation, and it still has not changed up until this point at my last viewing. Single occupancy supplements need to be highlighted at the booking stage, So that single travellars like myself know the full costs of the tour, including any supplements. The single room supplement ( had I payed it) was over £300. However when i actually started the tour, I was put in my own room in each Hotel. Thereby saving myself the £300. This could of been made a lot easier at the booking stage. The tour guides were very good. and knowledgable. All hotels were fairly basic, but clean. Breakfasts in each hotel again were not great. Transportation was well organised, and all went to plan. Overall I would reccomend this tour.Show more

Payment information
- For any tour departing before May 1st, 2026 a full payment is necessary. For tours departing after May 1st, 2026, a minimum payment of 20% is required to confirm your booking with G Adventures. The final payment will be automatically charged to your credit card on the designated due date. The final payment of the remaining balance is required at least 45 days prior to the departure date of your tour. TourRadar never charges you a booking fee and will charge you in the stated currency.
