For our Best of Brazil trip we have 2 departures in May both currently on sale priced at USD $946, if adding on a single supplement the cost would be an additional USD $305. As for the accommodations you can expect them to be around 3.5 - 4 stars locally. Below is the hotel list but it is subject to change at anytime. Rio - Américas Benidorm Hotel Copacabana (Benidorm Palace Hotel) or similar Paraty - Pousada Solar do Algarve or similar Ilha Grande - Pousada Cachoeira or similar If you are wanting to add on pre and post nights in Rio the cost for a single room at Américas Benidorm Hotel Copacabana is $170 per night.

Are there any options for a 1-2 day trip to Iguazzu Falls? We have an option to do this or other travel before February 13, or after February 22

We do have Iguazu Falls Short Break 3 days short break.

Would it be possible to join the tour as a tour manager after I book it? And would I get paid for that? Would I be able to work for you as a tour manager for other trips that I don't necessarily organize? Would my flight and hotel be free as well if I come as a tour manager?

How young is the youngest traveler? I have a group of 15 adults and 1 eight-year-old that is ready to book for April 2025. The parent of the 8-year-old has a family of 4 and does not want to leave her 8-year-old behind.

This tour was a taste of the west coast of Brazil and certainly lived up to expectations. The tour leader, Luma was very passionate, energetic and informative about the country, making her a great advert for not just Intrepid Travel, but also Brazil. The small historical city of Paraty was a very historical and cultural place to visit and the island of Ilha Grande was very picturesque. The only trouble was as Ilha Grande was a tourist destination you do get hit with heavily inflated prices and sometimes sub-standard food (this was not the case in Paraty though). The final stop was Rio De Janierio, where the hotel was great (better than the other two) and lived up to all expectation of being one of the most iconic cities in the world (especially as the world record setting Lady Gaga concert coincided with the end of the tour). Now I am just waiting for an Intrepid tour that includes the Pantana and FlorianópolisShow more

I really enjoyed my guide. She was pleasant and sweet. She knew recommendations for us to eat and tours to attend. Accommodating. When I arrived at the first hotel I was told the water was complementary. But when I checked out I had to pay for the one water bottle I drank. Second hotel.. was ok. Third hotel was the worst. If I had any physical limitations I would not have gotten up the hill. I think the accommodations of the third hotel put restrictions with people with disabilities. In conclusion, they only gave me one towel (No toiletries or face towels). I would not recommend this trip for individuals that are not moderately fit or have some disabilities. A really relaxed and pleasurable experience. Our guide Sergio was brilliant. he was always at hand if needed and was full of information about the places we visited and of Brazilian culture in general. He looked after us all and kept the group together although, with such a friendly crowd that got on so well together, his his was made a little easier. But that allowed him to be part of the experience. All together a brilliant tour and a smashing holiday. Well done!Show more

We were really looking forward to stay on the estancia over new years eve and this was changed a few weeks before we started the travel. Reason was not really clear for us. After talking to the owner of the estancia we figured out that they do not take any groups over new years eve - since 4 years!!! Absolute no go. Intrepud can not offer an itinery whwn they know they have to change. That is not okay and we feel very disappointed.Show more

  The joining point of this trip will be Americas Benidorm Hotel (Benidorm Palace Hotel), Rua Barata Ribeiro, 547, Copacabana, Rio de Janeiro, BRAZIL. You will have to make your own way to the hotel. However, if you book an arrival transfer at an additional cost, you will be picked up from the airport and dropped off at the hotel.

The final payment of the remaining balance is required at least 60 days prior to the departure date of your tour. TourRadar never charges you a booking fee and will charge you in the stated currency.
