For May 2027, we currently have a departure from 9 May 2027 to 16 May 2027, as well as another departure from 23 May 2027 to 30 May 2027. If you're flexible with your dates, please let us know which departure you'd prefer and we can check the current price for you.
The Best of Brazil (9 destinations) itinerary includes Rio de Janeiro, Paraty and Ilha Grande, with time spent in each destination as part of the overall itinerary.
Regarding the tour leader, all group trips are accompanied by a Group Leader or local representative. They are there to make your travels easier and help you get the most from your trip. They provide information about the destinations, offer suggestions on things to see and do, recommend local places to eat and share their knowledge of the local history, culture and way of life. They may not always be a traditional guide, but they will be with the group to provide support throughout the trip.
For the price, the €708 per person shown on the website can vary depending on the departure date and availability, so we would need to check the specific departure you're interested in. For our Best of Brazil trip we have 2 departures in May both currently on sale priced at USD $946, if adding on a single supplement the cost would be an additional USD $305.
As for the accommodations you can expect them to be around 3.5 - 4 stars locally. Below is the hotel list but it is subject to change at anytime.
Rio - Américas Benidorm Hotel Copacabana (Benidorm Palace Hotel) or similar
Paraty - Pousada Solar do Algarve or similar
Ilha Grande - Pousada Cachoeira or similar
If you are wanting to add on pre and post nights in Rio the cost for a single room at Américas Benidorm Hotel Copacabana is $170 per night.
