So far on the 10th September 2026 we have 11 bookings, a mix of nationalities including U.K. Australia, Germany and the US. The age ranges from 22 - 40. Our Bali Experience attracts people who are slightly older, whereas our Bali Intro attracts those from 18 +. But of course it does vary per start date and can change day to day, every group demographic can be different. We do indeed have a private room option, for this particular trip is costs 550 USD.

where is the actual arrival and departure location?

Our 12 day tour begins in Seminyak, a short drive from Denpasar International airport (DPS). We'll be there waiting to pick you up and transfer you over to the group hotel. The trip finishes in Ubud. You can choose to stay on longer in Bali or if you need to get back to the airport (DPS), then it's a simple minivan transfer that will take around 1-1.5 hours. The earliest we recommend booking an onward flight out of Bali is around 1pm on your final day. Your departure transfer is not included in the package but your Group Leader will book that for you and ensure you are comfortable with all parts of your trip and your onward travel.

In the event a friend plans to leave the trip sooner, maybe after 6-8 days, is that possible? If so, would they pay a reduced amount given less accommodations needed? Would transport back to the airport still be provided?

Our trips are booked as packages and because of this we'd be unable to provide a discounted rate to your friend if they needed to leave early I'm afraid. Your airport pick-up is included but transport back to the airport is not included in the package price. Your Group Leader will book your transport for you and you can then pay locally. They will organise everything and ensure you're fully comfortable with all aspects of your onwards travel so you don't need to worry about a thing!

What time are we suppose to arrive day 1? Or can it be anytime?

Do my friend and I have to book under the same reservation or can we book separately and request to be together?

Can I add whitewater rafting to the itinerary?

We can certainly organise white water rafting for you, and your Group Leader can book that for you while you're on tour. I'd recommend arriving in Bali a day early to ensure you have enough time to go rafting without having to miss out on any of our included activities, but no worries if not. If you do arrive early then we can book you into the group hotel for 1 extra night.

I don't need to see Bangkok since I will be there from 7th to 10th of January. I would like to skip sightseeing in Bangkok

Also it will be a single traveling and not sharing any accommodations with any one, yet traveling in a group !

I am looking for a Bali trip for me (46yo) and my 19 yo daughter. we would like to travel in 2nd half of July 2026 and join a fun group of fellow travelers. We are looking at 12 to 15 days with maximum sites and activities. Which trips would you recommend please? As we are not fans of Surfing, could we skip this activity and replace it with something else?

Yes, all of our Bali tours include a surfing lesson. However, if surfing isn't something you're keen on, no worries at all! All of our activities are optional, so you're more than welcome to use this time to relax and unwind, or your Group Leader can suggest some alternative activities for you.

For the 12th October Bali Experience trip, we currently have 10 bookings (8F & 2M), the majority of travellers are in their mid-late 20s/30s and are travelling solo!

Do U have any options for a small group tour? I see that U have Oct 12 start - can I join it on 14th? Also look like age limit is 50? I am 57 - is that a deal breaker?

Yes, since you're arriving at midnight on the 14th, you would still be able to join. We can arrange transport to your hotel in Seminyak. The group goes surfing on the morning of the 14th and then departs for Lovina afterward. This does mean you would miss the activities and evenings from the previous days, but you'd still be able to join the tour. No, not at all! We can aceppet bookings up to age of 65 on our Bali Experience tours. The majority of people are aged 18 to 40, but we regularly have people in their 50's travel with us and have an incredible time! As long as you have an appetite for adventure and are happy bonding with people of all backgrounds, you'll fit in perfectly!

Had the best trip ever on the Bali experience! It was my first time ever doing a solo trip/tour so was slightly apprehensive/nervous going to a new country on my own. However, the trip could not have been better! It was so nice having every part of the trip planed out for you but then also having some time to do your own thing. Our tour leader (Violetta) was the absolute best! She explained everything so well and made it clear that if we needed anything, no matter the time, she would be on call to help. She made the trip so much more enjoyable and put me at ease the second I arrive in Bali. Couldn’t recommend intro travel enough and I will be booking again for a different destination!Show more

I've been on a number of tours in my time and hands down Annie has been the best! From the first onboarding day Annie makes you feel welcome and part of the group, takes care of all of the logistics, looking after the group (even those who get sick or catch Bali belly 🙈) maintains a high level of energy and positivity, ensures all activities run smoothly and that everyone has a great time, and makes it look easy! The only downside is that she makes a lot of people cry when it's time to say goodbye 😭 🥳🎉Show more

Bali Experience, 4 July 2025, intro travel The itinerary was good, lots in interesting things to do and see, though personally I was more interested in the scuba and snorkeling opportunities. Though a few other favourites were the family visit and doing karaoke with the group. The scuba dives were very good, and also convenient that we were able do it with our hotel and that their prices were pretty much the same across the island. So no need to shop around wasting time doing research. Our trip guide was also very helpful with liaising with the instructors to organise follow-up dives. The main issue i found with the trip was that there wasn't much downtime/free time, as travel from hotel locations and individual activities took up alot of time. And infact towards the end myself and my friend actually skipped out on some of the scheduled activities to have some more down time. A good example of this would be the transfer to Gilli T. We got up at 5 in the morning to begin the journey and were scheduled to arrived around early to mid afternoon. After arriving the day was going to be free time to explore island and do as we please. But unfortunately we didnt arrive until i believe gone 9pm, as the fast boat was cancelled due to poor sea state. Now while i understand weather is outside of the companies contol, to me it doesn't seem to be a total one off. And did hear from others that this isnt unheard of for the boats to be cancelled, and that even another group arrived past midnight. Also the fact the day was left conviently free of scheduled activities, leads me to belive this somthing they are well aware of and suspect may occur. In which case they should have a more formalised established back up route, and make it clear that this is potentially an issue that may occur. As if i was aware of it being a potential risk i wouldnt have nearly been so upset with the resulting loss of a day. The replacement boat to Gilli T was something out of a horror movie. Hendri, our guide, was amazing is trying to resolve it and make it as comfortable and stress free for us as possible, and I cannot not sing his praises enough. The conditions in which we were going to have to make our way to the island were quite frankly barbaric and i shall leave it at that. It was only because of Hendri's quick action that our journey was made “tolerable”. Overall while I did enjoy my trip there were definitely a few areas of improvement. However I can safely say the guide was NOT one of them, and would be more than happy to hear that he is my guide again on any potential follow up trips.Show more

Firstly, I cannot fault our guide, Hendri. He is a gentleman, always ready to help with anything and looked after our group with exceptional care and skill. He was not only outstanding as a guide but as a friend, always up for a joke and it felt like he geniunely wanted to be there with us rather than it being his job. The iteniary and tour generally was good, with a large variety of accommodation, scenery and activities. The food and local knowledge was also good. However, I refrained from giving 5 stars as there was a lot of travel time between the destinations which ate into holiday time. One particular instance stands out, the ferry to Gili. I appreciate Intro are limited by the local infrastructure but when our original ferry was cancelled due to the waves, we were forced onto a slow, overcrowded and disgusting ship. It was only Hendri's quick thinking that secured us a private cabin to make the trip bearable. I understand this is not the first time this has happened either, so better contingency planning should have been in place. That said, I appreciate Intro are limited by the nature of the location and it's infrastructure. However, I would recommend reducing the distance between the chosen locations and omitting some activities (for example, dolphin spotting which many found underwhelming), to reduce travel time and stress. However, I'd still highly recommend the tour to anyone who wants to visit Bali and Intro Travels as a company.Show more

His friendly vibrant personality was absolutely the highlight of the trip. We all got on with him so well and he did absolutely everything in his power to put us first and make sure we were safe and comfortable and happy with everything.   On Day 1 of your trip, there are no planned activities, so you can choose to arrive at any time. The group meets around 7pm for a welcome dinner, so we recommend arriving before then if possible. If not, no worries! We can still arrange your airport pickup, and you can meet up with the group afterwards. If you choose to arrive a day or two before your trip begins, that's absolutely fine! We can arrange an extra night at the starting accommodation for you, and you'll still be able to get picked up from the airport!

However we do room you with someone of the same gender (excluding multi-share accommodation) and try our best to room you with someone of a similar age. Also Group Members are in their hotel rooms for a very limited time throughout the trip, as there are activities most days and things planned most evenings. For a private room it would cost an extra 500 USD. If you still want to go ahead with a private room let me know and I can check availability for you

I am looking for a Bali trip for me (46yo) and my 19 yo daughter. we would like to travel in 2nd half of July 2026 and join a fun group of fellow travelers. We are looking at 12 to 15 days with maximum sites and activities. Which trips would you recommend please? As we are not fans of Surfing, could we skip this activity and replace it with something else?

  Yes, all of our Bali tours include a surfing lesson. However, if surfing isn't something you're keen on, no worries at all! All of our activities are optional, so you're more than welcome to use this time to relax and unwind, or your Group Leader can suggest some alternative activities for you.

  We do cover the Nest when snorkelling in Gili. You'll also get to visit both Tanah Lot and Uluwatu temples, and the rice field we explore is the beautiful Jatiluwih Rice Terrace.

Do U have any options for a small group tour? I see that U have Oct 12 start - can I join it on 14th? Also look like age limit is 50? I am 57 - is that a deal breaker?

  Yes, since you're arriving at midnight on the 14th, you would still be able to join. We can arrange transport to your hotel in Seminyak. The group goes surfing on the morning of the 14th and then departs for Lovina afterward. This does mean you would miss the activities and evenings from the previous days, but you'd still be able to join the tour. No, not at all! We can aceppet bookings up to age of 65 on our Bali Experience tours. The majority of people are aged 18 to 40, but we regularly have people in their 50's travel with us and have an incredible time! As long as you have an appetite for adventure and are happy bonding with people of all backgrounds, you'll fit in perfectly!

Payment information
- For any tour departing before October 24th, 2026 a full payment is necessary. For tours departing after October 24th, 2026, a minimum payment of 25% is required to confirm your booking with INTRO Travel. The final payment will be automatically charged to your credit card on the designated due date. The final payment of the remaining balance is required at least 35 days prior to the departure date of your tour. TourRadar never charges you a booking fee and will charge you in the stated currency.
