  Is there availability for the same tour for December 2025? If such a case is available could you please give a breakdown of what would be included? Their budget is around $2,000 -$2,500 USD per person so if you have any other option I will definitely share it with them.

    We will be running our Christmas in Finland itinerary for next year, however we are still waiting on pricing and dates. We will hopefully have these out in the next couple of months. Assuming that the itinerary doesnt change at all we will include the below:
    
    Included
    - 5 nights at the Hotel Kalevala (3 star)
    - 5 breakfasts, 4 lunches and 5 dinners (inclusive of a Christmas Eve Traditional Gala Dinner)
    - Welcome drink
    - Arrival and departure transfer from Kajaani airport on days 1 and 6
    - Visit to Santa Claus at his local home
    - Journey to collect the Christmas tree to bring to the restaurant for the children to decorate
    - Leisure Snowshoe tour with wilderness guide (approx. 1 hour)
    -Free use of kick-sledges, toboggans, DVDs, Playstation2 and Nintendo WII games, Wi-Fi and board games
    - Daily evening saunas and jacuzzis
    
    Not Included
    - Items of a personal nature and additional meals
    - International flights to/from our tour start/end points and visas
    - Tipping - An entirely personal gesture
    - Optional excursions
    
    Typically we see a 5-10% increase on price year on year so clients would be looking at a starting from price of around USD$2200 per person twin/double share.

  Is December 22 the definite date the tour starts? We will be coming from Chicago and are having an extremely hard time finding flights to Finland. There are so few that this is where my struggle is aligning a trip with a tour.

  Is there a possibility to see the northern lights? Do you have any flight recommendations?

    In northern Kainuu and northern Lapland, you can see the northern lights from Kuhmo in Tohmajärvi at Lake Pielinen, so there is a chance that you might see the lights while you are on this trip.
