What makes this style of travel different
Three things that set an organized cultural adventure apart from anything else.

Every detail, handled before you arrive
Airport transfers arranged and confirmed. Hotels booked with your room preference. Luggage moved between stops, never by you.
The pace is marked clearly on every itinerary, so you know what each day asks of you.
Logistics disappear. The experience takes over.

Cultural depth that a cruise can't offer
Dine in a family home in Morocco. Explore a medieval Portuguese village with an art historian. Make pasta with a grandmother in Umbria.
Local guides open doors that a cruise port stop never could.
And if you’d rather glide than walk, river cruises on the Rhine, Danube, and Nile bring the same depth, at an unhurried pace.

A real person to speak to, whenever you need
Before you book, during your trip, and after you return: our travel experts are available 24/7 by phone or chat.
Compare different tours. Change the departure date. Walk through the itinerary day by day. You’ll speak to someone who knows your trip inside out.
No chatbots, but a friendly expert who’s happy to help.

How to choose your trip
A straightforward guide to finding the tour that fits the way you travel.
Start with the destination, not the price
The best trips begin with a place that excites you. Whether it's the ancient ruins of Peru, the vineyards of Tuscany, or the castles of Ireland, choosing a destination you've been dreaming about makes every other decision easier. Once you know where you want to go, you can compare itineraries, operators, and departure dates.
Check what's included
A well-organized tour should clearly list what's covered: accommodation, meals, transfers, guided excursions, and entrance fees. Look for tours where airport transfers, luggage handling, and tips are included. The fewer surprises, the more you can relax and enjoy the experience.
Look for guaranteed departures
There's nothing more disappointing than planning around a departure date only to learn the tour might not run. Tours with guaranteed departures mean your trip is confirmed regardless of group size. On TourRadar, you can filter for guaranteed departures so you can book with complete confidence.

Things you might be wondering
The questions our travel experts hear most often.
Can I speak to someone before I book?
Absolutely. Our travel experts are available 24 hours a day, 7 days a week. They can walk you through any itinerary, compare options, explain what’s included, and answer questions about accommodation, transfers, or anything else. Many of our travelers call before their first booking, and we’re happy to spend as much time as you need. You can also request a 48-hour hold on any tour to give yourself time to decide without losing your spot.
What happens if a tour is cancelled or doesn't reach minimum numbers?
Your money is always protected. If a departure doesn’t go ahead — for any reason — you’ll be notified well in advance and offered a choice of an alternative date, a different tour, or a full refund, no questions asked. TourRadar holds your payment securely and only releases it to the operator once your trip is confirmed and running. Tours showing a Guaranteed Departure badge will run regardless of the number of travelers booked.
What is typically included in the tour price?
This varies by tour, but most organized tours include accommodation, daily breakfast, guided excursions, transport between destinations, and entrance fees to key sites. Many also include additional meals, airport transfers, and luggage handling. Every tour on TourRadar has a detailed inclusions and exclusions list on its page, so you know exactly what you’re paying for before you book. If you’d like someone to walk through what’s included on a specific tour, our travel experts are just a phone call away.
How do I know my departure is guaranteed?
On TourRadar, tours with a Guaranteed Departure badge will run regardless of how many travelers have booked. Just remember to wait until your booking is confirmed before purchasing your flights. You can filter search results to show only guaranteed departures for easier planning.
How do I know if a tour matches my pace?
Every tour includes a clear activity rating — from leisurely to active — along with an idea of daily distances and time spent sightseeing, so you can find a pace that feels right for you. We have wonderful options for travellers who prefer a more relaxed experience, with plenty of time to take in each destination without feeling rushed. Not sure which suits you? Give us a call and we’ll talk through the options with you and recommend tours that match how you like to travel.
Do I need a visa, and will you help?
Many popular destinations — including Egypt, Vietnam, Morocco, and Jordan — require a visa, but you won’t have to figure this out on your own. Before you travel, we send you a clear, step-by-step guide covering exactly what to apply for, when to apply, and how to do it. Visa requirements and fees can change, so we always recommend checking the latest advice for your nationality before applying — your travel expert can point you in the right direction. If you have any questions at all, just call us.
What happens when I land?
When airport transfers are included, your driver will be waiting with a name sign and your operator will know your flight details. If your flight is delayed, the transfer is held. You’ll receive arrival instructions before you fly.
Do I need travel insurance?
Yes — we strongly recommend taking out travel insurance before every trip. A good policy should cover emergency medical treatment abroad, trip cancellation or curtailment, and the cost of getting home if something goes wrong. If you have any pre-existing medical conditions, make sure your policy covers these — it’s worth declaring everything upfront to avoid any issues with a claim later. Many of our travellers sort their insurance at the same time as booking. We can point you to trusted providers, and your travel expert is happy to talk through what to look for so you feel confident you’re properly covered.
Can I get a twin room or upgrade?
Yes. Twin and double rooms are standard on most tours, and many include the option to upgrade. Your travel expert can confirm room types and arrange upgrades before you book.
Can I add extra nights before or after?
Almost always — and for longer journeys, we’d encourage it. Arriving a day or two early gives you time to settle in, recover from the flight, and start your trip feeling refreshed rather than rushed. Staying on afterwards means you can explore at your own pace once the tour ends. We’ll help you book the extra nights at operator rates — just speak to your travel expert and we’ll handle everything for you, including requesting complimentary transfers where available.
