We do not arrange flights as that would be on your own account, it would be fine to arrange your flights to arrive a day prior to your tour and leave a day after the tour and we would be able to assist with pre and post accommodation for you with a transfer included.

How often do you run this tour as we are over in October.

The tour runs on Monday's, Thursday's and Saturdays depending on a minimum requirement of 6-pax needed for a tour to be confirmed.

I am interested in a tour with you and wonder if you also do it from Port Elizabeth to Capetown? I ill be finishing an overland bush safari in Victoria Falls on April 5th. Then plan is for me to do the Garden Route and Capetown. On 6th after my safari, i can fly from VF to either in Port Elizabeth or Capetown. I am solo and booked return home flight out of Capetown on evening of April 17th. I love hiking, nature, water and elephants!

We offer: Backpacker Dorm, Backpacker Private room (twin or double beds), 3-Star Guesthouse (twin or double beds), 4-Star (twin or double beds)

Can I check if a single person books this tour that they will not have to share a room and bathroom with a stranger. For the private room in hostel, it says if an uneven amount of people is booked; the single person gets a separate room. I don't want to book the dormitary as it says it will be mixed gender. What does that mean?

Yes, of course. If x1 person books the Private own room Hostel package, then it will be a private room and bathroom for that person. The reason it mentions "if an uneven amount of people is booked; the single person gets a separate room.", that is for friend/family groups of 3, 5, 7, 9 etc. Then that single person gets a separate room and the rest would share Twin/Double rooms, with maximum 2 people in each room. But this doesn't apply to you if you are a solo traveller booking.

I cannot recommend this tour highly enough. Our tour guide Isaac was an absolute legend and made sure that our visit was as perfect as could be. Our accomodation was very vairied as we booked the 'back packer' option with private rooms. Some of the rooms were quite basic in quaint beachside locations, but always spacious and clean; but we were also accomodated in an absolutely beautiul family farm in incredible chalets and provided with a home cooked meal which was amazing. I would definitely recommed listening to Isaac and to the itinerary that he suggests as another group definitley missed out by turning down some of the options given. The 7am starts are 100% worth it to fit in all the activities and visits.Show more

There was an issue with booking originally and the communication thru the tour radar app definitely needs work as we had to call the office overseas when our questions were not being answered. As it was we only found out the tour we had received confirmation on was cancelled the day before our departure - but nobody got a hold of us - it was our panicked enquiry from us to confirm pick up time and location the day before the tour was to depart that brought it to light to tour radar. - Hepatitis B - Recommended for South Africa. Ideally 2 months before travel.
- Yellow fever - Certificate of vaccination required if arriving from an area with a risk of yellow fever transmission for South Africa. Ideally 10 days before travel.
Visa
- Unfortunately we cannot offer you a visa application service. Whether you need a visa or not depends on your nationality and where you wish to travel. Assuming your home country does not have a visa agreement with the country you're planning to visit, you will need to apply for a visa in advance of your scheduled departure.
- Here is an indication for which countries you might need a visa. Please contact the local embassy for help applying for visas to these places.
Payment information
- For any tour departing before May 21st, 2026 a full payment is necessary. For tours departing after May 21st, 2026, a minimum payment of 10% is required to confirm your booking with Hotspots2c. The final payment will be automatically charged to your credit card on the designated due date. The final payment of the remaining balance is required at least 15 days prior to the departure date of your tour. TourRadar never charges you a booking fee and will charge you in the stated currency.
- Some departure dates and prices may vary and Hotspots2c will contact you with any discrepancies before your booking is confirmed.
- The following cards are accepted for "Hotspots2c" tours: Visa, Maestro, Mastercard, American Express or PayPal. TourRadar does NOT charge you an extra fee for using any of these payment methods.
Cancellation Policy
- Your money is safe with TourRadar, as we only pay the tour operator after your tour has departed.
- TourRadar is an authorized Agent of Hotspots2c. Please familiarize yourself with the Hotspots2c payment, cancellation and refund conditions.
