These Central European journeys typically span 7-10 days with 8-9 day itineraries being the most common choice among travelers. The opening days focus on Prague's essential landmarks including Prague Castle and Charles Bridge. Visitors explore the Old Town Square with its medieval Astronomical Clock and walk through the historic Jewish Quarter. Day 2 features guided walking tours followed by evening cruises on the Vltava River. Many tours use Hotel Adria Prague as their base right in the city center. According to a TourRadar traveler: "The first-class train journeys between cities were very comfortable and gave us great views of the countryside."

How are the first few nights' accommodations in Prague typically arranged?

Tours select 3-4 star hotels in central Prague locations. Properties like Hotel Adria or Grandior Hotel put guests within walking distance of key attractions. Each stay includes breakfast and standard modern amenities. What optional activities are available in Prague at the start of the tour?

Beyond the standard itinerary travelers can join evening folklore shows river dinner cruises on the Vltava guided tours of the Jewish Quarter or take day trips to Český Krumlov.
