Do we stay in a camp with Bedoins when we are in Petra? I love this tour but I am looking for that experience.

    • Consolidated Tour OperatorsOperatorWritten May 2025

Our regular tours stay in hotel accommodation in Petra. However, it is possible to stay overnight in a Bedouin camp in Wadi Rum instead. It means an extra transfer after the visit in Petra on Friday and in this way, when the remainder of the regular tour arrives at Wadi Rum on Saturday, you re-join them there to continue the regular program. There is a supplement of US$150 for the transfer on Friday afternoon from Petra to Wadi Rum, and the difference in accommodation cost for that night, which depends on the standard of accommodation you choose.
