The local tour guides were kind and helpful. However, one of the tours booked was for a Marine Park that is only opened from December onwards and my trip was in November. That was not a big problem, since there’s enough to do in the island itself. Pattaya lives up to its reputation, so it was definitely not my thing. I’m not sure if it fits with the general relaxed and cozy vibe of the tour. Also, the local tour guide there was rude.
