  How far is the train station to where I check in? I would be interested in a private room and an upgrade from hostel to hotel

    The accommodations during this tour are usually located at a 10-20 minutes walk from the Firenze S.M.N. train station. In general, the accommodations are usually situated in or near the city centre, so that all the main attractions will be easily reachable even on foot.

This package is one of our self guided itineraries where there is no tour leader to follow 24h or a group to be with all the time. You will travel independently on a fixed itinerary we have created for you with pre-booked activities included in your trip with our local guides for you to meet with other travelers, organised transport and accommodation booked in our partner hostels.

    Can you tell be if I booked who and how many people I would share a room with, and would these be people doing the wine tour on the 7th? Are there other solo travellers on this trip please?

    We usually book our guests in a 4 or 6 bed shared room but they might be not all our clients but regular guests of the hostel. Yes, at the wine tour there are also other solo travellers.

    the trip is ideal for 18-39's since the majority of our customers are budget minded & independent travelers aged between 20 and 30 years old. We are not strict with the age limit and as long as the older travelers are easy going, fast peaced and young in heart, we are more than welcome to join.

  Is there any way I can arrange to meet someone at the airport? Even if its another member of the tour group. I've never been to Italy so i'd feel so much better if I didn't have to take the airport on alone

    Yes, the Florence city Break is ideal for independent travellers; There is no tour leader to follow 24h or a group to be with all the time. You will travel independently on a fixed itinerary we have created for you with pre- booked activities included in your trip with our local guides, organised transport and accommodation booked in our partner hostels. Plus our Italy on a Budget tours members will provide a 24h assistance also with maps and local info.
