During the trek customers will be staying at mountain huts. Huts are dormitory-style shared accommodations with bunk beds or large rooms of side-by-side mattresses—no private rooms or single beds. Your group usually shares one large room, but other hikers stay throughout the hut. We recommend bringing earplugs and a sleep mask. We try to ensure all trekkers in the group stay within the same room when possible. Please note that double mattresses may be available so trekkers may be sleeping beside someone else. Please also note that the huts are not private for the group, there will be solo hikers sleeping in the hut also. There are bathroom facilities by all the huts and campsites. There are showers at all of the huts/campsites we stay at, using the shower service costs 1100 ISK and you can buy coins or tickets to use the facilities at the warden's huts. Customers can use cash or card to purchase shower services. The tour includes 2 nights of accommodation. On the last day the group will reach Reykjavík in the early evening - around 5-6 p.m.
