The starting hotel will be the Swan's Nest Hotel in Stratford. The last hotel on Day 21 of the tour will be either Crowne Plaza Plymouth or the Copthorne Hotel Plymouth. Your hotel will be dependent on your departure date.

Is there a single supplement and if so what is the cost please? Or can you pair me with another single female of similar age etc or can I book as a single person and hope for the best?

We may able to book you for this tour either Single Room or Twin Share Room depends on your choosing. With regards to Twin Share Room, guest will be in a room together with another guest who are also in a Twin Share room of the same gender. Single room in which you will be in a room of your own. Single Room = AUD 11,235.00, Twin Share Room = AUD 9,275.00

The TD and driver were great! I enjoyed and appreciated the geographic reach included in the tour. All the positives are counterbalanced by the poor experience at the Marble Arch Hotel to begin the journey. They provided us with a room with no air conditioning while all other rooms had working air conditioning. The manager was unwilling to move us, claiming all rooms were taken, or book us into another hotel, claiming all hotels were full. The Insight Vacations representatives were gone by the time we checked into the Marble Arch Hotel. We called the TD but he could not help because his contract did not start until the following morning. We resorted to paying a large sum for a hotel nearby with air conditioning. If we'd known how horrible the service is at the Marble Arch Hotel, we would've booked elsewhere. Then the motor coach's air conditioning failed and we had to ride in the unseasonably hot weather in this condition for 4 different days. Our complaints were met with suggestions to move out of windows facing the sun. We had no indication that the AC would be repaired or that the coach would be replaced until we complained via email to Customer Service. Our final hotel stop further dampened our tour experience. After staying in some nice hotels you decide to put us in the worst hotel on the trip in Plymouth. In a city filled with comparably prized hotels with air conditioning you booked us in one with not room air conditioning. If that wasn't bad enough the rooms and bathrooms were dirty and severely outdated.Show more

We are pleased to read that you appreciated the geographical reach of the itinerary and found the Travel Director and Coach Driver to be great. However, we are very sorry to read about the number of issues you experienced with the accommodation and coach air conditioning, which clearly had a significant impact on your overall experience. We particularly understand your frustration with the start of your journey at the Marble Arch Hotel. Being allocated a room without working air conditioning when other rooms had this facility, and then being unable to secure an alternative room or assistance from the hotel, must have been extremely disappointing. We are also sorry that the Insight Vacations representatives were no longer available when you checked in and that the Travel Director was unable to assist because their responsibilities had not yet commenced. Having to arrange and pay for alternative accommodation at considerable expense understandably added to your frustration. We are equally sorry to read about the coach air conditioning failure and that this continued for four days during unseasonably warm weather. We appreciate that being advised simply to move away from windows facing the sun would not have resolved the underlying issue. We understand your concerns regarding the lack of clear communication about when the air conditioning would be repaired or whether the coach would be replaced, and we regret that you felt you had to contact Customer Service before receiving further action. Your concerns regarding the final hotel in Plymouth are also understood. After enjoying some of the other accommodation on the tour, encountering a property where the rooms had no air conditioning and were described as dirty and severely outdated would have been particularly disappointing. We appreciate that the standard of accommodation forms an important part of the overall Insight Vacations experience and that this fell short of your expectations. Your feedback regarding the hotels, coach air conditioning, communication and the handling of these concerns will be shared with the relevant teams for careful consideration. We are sorry that these issues overshadowed many of the positive aspects of your journey and appreciate you bringing them to our attention.

We just returned from our trip around the British Isles and we loved it but to give credit to Greg who made the tour extra special. I cannot imagine a tour guide as good as Greg. From his use of music to set the mood and the veritable treasure trove of facts. I really enjoyed our stops in the pubs. And for someone with physical issues I really appreciated the luggage delivered to our hotel rooms. At the start and end of the day Greg addressed all the tour group if any questions arose.Then when several members of the tour started coughing he was Jonny on the spot with sprays and disinfectants. The tour could have been improved by skipping Inverness as it had our least favorite room and while my wife and I think most meals lacked flavour the kitchen at the hotel took the cake for poorest food. Also the floor in our room and the dining hall could have used a good vacuum. I must give a shout out to Lee our driver who was the epitome of smooth!Show more

Tours of a distillery and Guinness brewery were all good. Local guides were good and Ronan in Derry/Londonderry was excellent - very knowledgeable and passionate around the history of the city. What is the hotel name for Day 1 and the last day in London? Can you provide quotations for pre and post-accommodation?

  The starting hotel will be the Swan's Nest Hotel in Stratford. The last hotel on Day 21 of the tour will be either Crowne Plaza Plymouth or the Copthorne Hotel Plymouth. Your hotel will be dependent on your departure date.

  A pre-night stay in London is required for this tour due to the early departure schedule. This overnight is not included in the tour package and may be arranged either through Insight Vacations or independently. Accommodation is typically at The Marble Arch Hotel, though this is subject to change. On the final day, guests will be dropped off at the designated London tour hotel in the late afternoon or early evening, marking the end of the tour. Post-tour accommodation can also be arranged at The Marble Arch Hotel (subject to change). As rates vary depending on departure dates, you may share your preferred date so we can provide a quote for pre- and post-tour hotel stays in London.

Is there a single supplement and if so what is the cost please? Or can you pair me with another single female of similar age etc or can I book as a single person and hope for the best?

With regards to Twin Share Room, guest will be in a room together with another guest who are also in a Twin Share room of the same gender. Single room in which you will be in a room of your own. Single Room = AUD 11,235.00, Twin Share Room = AUD 9,275.00

Payment information
- For any tour departing before December 17th, 2026 a full payment is necessary. For tours departing after December 17th, 2026, a minimum payment of $200 is required to confirm your booking with Insight Vacations. The final payment will be automatically charged to your credit card on the designated due date. The final payment of the remaining balance is required at least 95 days prior to the departure date of your tour. TourRadar never charges you a booking fee and will charge you in the stated currency.
- Some departure dates and prices may vary and Insight Vacations will contact you with any discrepancies before your booking is confirmed.
- The following cards are accepted for "Insight Vacations" tours: Visa, Maestro, Mastercard, American Express or PayPal. TourRadar does NOT charge you an extra fee for using any of these payment methods.
