    Asked on March 3rd, 2023

The traveler David is 73 and his wife is 64, very healthy but David has limitations imposed by suffering from Parkinson's which means maybe there will be difficulties with long-distance hiking, it depends on the daily condition of David. If there are longer hikes is there some options for the traveler?

As there is camping planned on this tour on Day 12. The traveler cannot sleep in a sleeping bag on the floor. He needs a mattress elevated at least 50cm/ 60cm to get in and out of bed easily. Is that possible to arrange for the traveler?

Is there a possibility to do a hotel upgrade? Or can you give the traveler more details about the accommodations?

    • H

      Heidi

      TravelerWritten March 2023

Can you please give the traveler more information about the additional excursion they can book for this tour?

    • Generally these would be arranged locally depending on the day and location, but if a traveller opts out of an activity there will usually be an alternative for them, or somewhere to wait for the group if it is a relatively short activity.

    • We can make requests such as this, but they are not guaranteed. Having said that, the itinerary doesn't mention sleeping bags so it may not be camping in the traditional sense, We can certainly reach out to our team and check this once the spaces are held.

    • The hotels are set as per the itinerary, they are generally guaranteed in advance as they are open to change but as a rule they will all be 4* or above, unless it is a particularly remote location.

    • The only optional extras that can be added locally are; Petra - Petra by Night (17JOD per person), Turkish Bath (20JOD per person). Everything else is included in the cost of the itinerary.

I am concerned that my disability will be or become a real problem. This is described as a fast paced tour with little free time. I belive that this then is not for me. I need a slower pace and do not want to delay the group, that would certainly be unwelcome.
