Regrettably, we can't as the youngest traveller we can accommodate is 5 years old.

Why is this tour not available in my region? What is the price difference between the 23 day tour and the 20 day tour?

The prices we offer are based on the region our guests are from. The difference on this tour between Australia and the United States is the 2 nights' accommodation included in the US region, but technically the tour itinerary is identical. There is no clear reason why there is an extra-accommodation for US guests, but this has something to do with the time difference between countries. In comparison for both currencies the price of the tour departing 3-Jul-2025 in USD is $7,695.00 per person, based on a twin room. While the price of the tour departing 05-Jul-2025 in AUD is $10,650.00 per person based on a twin room. Please be guided that our tours do have variable pricing, which is subject to change at any time, there's no guarantee that the prices we quoted will be the same the next time we check for availability. So, when the actual booking is done then the price is also confirmed.

We've never been over seas. The guys really want to see Saint Andrews ( north of Edinburgh) is that a possibility on any of your Great Britain and Ireland tours? Also, 50 people seems like a lot. The age range of our group is 65-80

You can try to check Highlights of Ireland and Scotland (11 days tour). They have a March 29, 2025, tour. Although the group size is 45-48 pax, out Tour Director ensures that all the guests are taken care of. If you are looking for a smaller group (average of 33 and maximum of 40) or a small group option (maximum 24 guest), you can try the same tour but under Insight Vacations.

I would like to know if is possible more discount on the final price of this tour for August 17, 2023, acommodation single.

For Britain and Ireland Grandeur on August 17, 2023 the tour price is $6,095.00 plus the single supplement of $1,050 which will make your total $7,145. There is a promo for this trip which is "Today's Best Travel Deals" amounting to $609.50. With the promo, your total is $6,535.50.

Are flights included with this tour?

Flights are not included in the tour price. We specialise in giving you the best tours from around the world, however the tours we offer do not include airfare and we do not book or advise on airfare. You will be responsible for booking your flights to meet with the group at the starting city. We do not recommend booking airfare before confirming your tour.

What luggage can I bring?

You can bring one suitcase per person with the dimensions of 76cm x 46cm x 25cm (30” x 18” x 10”) and weight not exceeding 23kg (50 lbs) due to the limited space on the coach. You can also bring one piece of hand luggage, provided it is small enough to take on the coach and does not have telescopic handles.

I would recommend doing the Reverse Britain and Ireland Grandeur (23 Days) which goes to Scotland during the first week of the tour if you want to see the Military Tattoo at Edinburgh. Our tour went in August, so check what dates the Military Tattoo is available if it is important to you. I discovered that I loved haggis and Guinness! Loved the whole trip, and I would definitely like to visit the UK and Ireland again.Show more

I am on a tour right now. It is dreadful. Most of our stops are at horrible tacky tourist shops with the same junk at everyone of them. The guide drops us off with little to no info about the town if there is one. I have never been on a tour that the guide at least gives you a little orientation of the town with a few highlights. The last 3 night has virtually been the same dinner menu. I am only waiting till I get to a city that I can easily get to London and I will leave the tour. The tour started off really bad in London because you really don't have a tour guide until the 3rd day. The tour director says after we boarded the bus in London welcome to your 20 day tour.but the thing is I bought a 23 day tour. Tha's messed up.Show more

My UK Grandeur trip was magnificent as I knew very little of the places we visited as I had not visited . Our Tour Leader made it extra special for me because of the quality of the background knowledge he gave us on each place we visited- this included historical knowledge including knowledge of people and events, his knowledge of literature and architecture pertaining to where we were visiting, and his humorous stories. He chose extra, very personable and knowledgeable people to show us around certain towns and cities for example: Belfast where we listened to men both Protestant and Catholic involved in the ongoing religious war, and Liverpool where we saw the Cathedral and the areas important to the early days of the Beatle's lives and fame, we dined at Cardiff and Eire while listening to stories and their characteristic humour accompanied by traditional music. And he offered a few 'extra special highlights' to show us which I relished-for example, the hidden grove with an altar for saying Mass when doing so was banned for Catholics, the meal with the owners of the Manor in York. Highlights I'll enjoy forever It was a superb trip, well managed, with great accommodation and stops If I had one request it would be add a few extra days on so the latter half could be slowed down and more time spent - perhaps seeing a Shakespeare performance on the Stratford on Avon riverside, visiting Oxford with time to visit (as I did in Dublin) and a drive past either Balmoral or Windsor as they seem so close by. May I add another - a visit to a local in both Penzance (with a pirate's cove) and in Cornwall to hear an old man who speaks like we heard in the radio programme "The Archers. I'd enrol for this trip purely to see what we did which was marvellous and to see these extras The monthly timing of this trip was weather perfect - yes it was coldish up north in Skye but that surely was to be expected. I must say what we saw and did was up to expectations HOWEVER, after doing a Europe tour with Cost Savers who is their cheaper version, I would say to fellow travellers don't waste the extra money , as the tour guide andespecially the hotels were a lot worse, I paid for comfortable beds and at the Novetal in York, had to sleep on a stretcher bed, I will not be travelling with Trafalgar againShow more

The difference on this tour between Australia and the United States is the 2 nights' accommodation included in the US region, but technically the tour itinerary is identical. There is no clear reason why there is an extra-accommodation for US guests, but this has something to do with the time difference between countries. In comparison for both currencies the price of the tour departing 3-Jul-2025 in USD is $7,695.00 per person, based on a twin room. While the price of the tour departing 05-Jul-2025 in AUD is $10,650.00 per person based on a twin room. Please be guided that our tours do have variable pricing, which is subject to change at any time, there's no guarantee that the prices we quoted will be the same the next time we check for availability. So, when the actual booking is done then the price is also confirmed.

  A little bit of feedback - it should not matter where the tour guest originates from, as the tour departs from the same place and date and time, regardless of the a said originating region, and as such the tour should be available to all regions. Then it is up to the tour guest to meet said place and date and time of the tour departure.

We've never been over seas. The guys really want to see Saint Andrews ( north of Edinburgh) is that a possibility on any of your Great Britain and Ireland tours? Also, 50 people seems like a lot. The age range of our group is 65-80

  You can try to check Highlights of Ireland and Scotland (11 days tour). They have a March 29, 2025, tour. Although the group size is 45-48 pax, out Tour Director ensures that all the guests are taken care of. If you are looking for a smaller group (average of 33 and maximum of 40) or a small group option (maximum 24 guest), you can try the same tour but under Insight Vacations.

We specialise in giving you the best tours from around the world, however the tours we offer do not include airfare and we do not book or advise on airfare. You will be responsible for booking your flights to meet with the group at the starting city. We do not recommend booking airfare before confirming your tour.

  You can bring one suitcase per person with the dimensions of 76cm x 46cm x 25cm (30” x 18” x 10”) and weight not exceeding 23kg (50 lbs) due to the limited space on the coach. You can also bring one piece of hand luggage, provided it is small enough to take on the coach and does not have telescopic handles.

- For any tour departing before December 26th, 2026 a full payment is necessary. For tours departing after December 26th, 2026, a minimum payment of $200 is required to confirm your booking with Trafalgar. The final payment will be automatically charged to your credit card on the designated due date. The final payment of the remaining balance is required at least 95 days prior to the departure date of your tour. TourRadar never charges you a booking fee and will charge you in the stated currency.
