  Is this tour appropriate for seniors? We walk slowly and not for long distances.

    Yes, this adventure is generally suitable for seniors, and we often welcome mature travelers on our trips. However, there is a fair amount of walking involved on sightseeing days, usually on guided city walks, through historic sites, and at attractions. Many of these areas (like old towns, castles, and heritage sites) can include cobblestones, some steps, and standing for periods of time.
    
    For travelers who walk slowly or prefer not to walk long distances:
    - You can usually opt out of certain walks and enjoy some free time instead.
    - At many stops, you may choose to stay near the coach, in a café, or at a nearby resting area while the group does a longer walk.
    - Our Travel Directors are used to supporting guests with different paces and can help you manage your day so you stay comfortable.
    
    To decide if it feels right for you, we recommend:
    - Checking the "physical rating" and daily itinerary on the tour detail page to see how much walking is mentioned on each day.
    - Considering bringing a walking stick, comfortable shoes, and letting the Travel Director know on Day 1 that you prefer a slower pace.
    
    Amazing Britain includes highlights like London, the Cotswolds, York, the Lake District, and Edinburgh, beautiful historic areas that are very rewarding even if you enjoy them at a gentler pace from scenic viewpoints, cafés, and coach routes.

    For this adventure, most of the travel between cities and highlights is by our comfortable, air-conditioned coach (bus). There may be some short local transfers or optional experiences that use other transportation, but the core journey around England, Scotland, and Wales is coach-based, with your Travel Director and driver taking care of everything.
    
    Britain is an incredible destination for this style of adventure, coaching lets you see rolling countryside, historic towns, and dramatic coastlines that you might miss by train, with plenty of photo stops and sightseeing along the way.

    To reach Heathrow Airport, it's about a 30–45-minute drive or around 45–60 minutes by Tube via the Piccadilly Line. We do not offer complimentary transfer, but you can purchase chargeable transfer to London Heathrow Airport (LHR).

  How much free time will we have in Glasgow? I was born in Johstone Scotland and plan to visit family for an evening in Glasgow. Will we have time for that?

However, if you choose not to participate in the optional Stirling experience, this time can be used as free time to visit your family.
