  We loved our trip to India so much! We saw so many amazing places and enjoyed learning about the culture and foods of India. Our guides were all fantastic. We had the best time on safari and did in fact see a bengal tiger along with tons of other animals along the way. I had one minor medical incident and our guide and driver were both incredibly helpful in dealing with that. That being said, we did have a couple of complaints. One thing that could be improved upon is that there was a fair amount of down time. I would have appreciated some suggestions on how to fill the time or some optional adds ons to the tour like henna tattoos, viewing of a bollywood movie, cooking lesson, yoga class, etc. I also wish there were fewer stops at high pressure souvenir sales locations. It was really a lot. And finally, we had booked and paid extra for a show at a temple in Delhi on our last night before our flight. All along, everyone knew it was on a Monday night, but the day before we were told that temples are not open on Mondays so we would not be able to see the show after all. They offered us a different show on a different night which we were not interested in because it did not fill the gap in time before our flight that we needed to fill. We asked for another activity or a refund, but were given neither. I really feel like we were swindled out of the cost of that show.Show more

It's also fantastic that you had great guides who made your experience memorable. Spotting a Bengal tiger and encountering various animals on the safari must have been an incredible experience! We understand that you had a couple of concerns as well. As you said that you would have required information on timings of the activities, we appreciate your concern and we would definitely keep it in mind for our future potential guests. Secondly, you mentioned that there were frequent stops at high-pressure souvenir sales locations, which were little disruptive. Kindly note we do not have tie-ups with any shops. Clear and strict instructions have always been given to our guides not to provoke our guests for shopping, as this is a usual nuisance and causes a lot of embarrassment to us as well. Sometimes we do not have knowledge or control over these things. However, you could have informed us right away so that we could have taken required action. We understand that it was communicated to you quite late that the show couldn't take place due to being a Monday, it was genuinely a human error. While an alternative show was offered to you, it didn't meet your requirements as you were tired on that day. So, there was no other activity possible due to time constraints. And we provided you Dinner in a multicuisine restaurant which was far way better than the dinner option in temple premises. Thank you for sharing your feedback, and I hope it doesn't overshadow the overall positive memories you have from your trip to India. It is not an expensive country to visit including the tours, visits to monuments and restaurants; the value for money is unbeatable! It was a great experience socially professionally and personally, an experience that I will treasure for the rest of my life.Show more

  We booked the 8 day Golden Triangle Tour with Ranthambore Nature Reserve. The customer services and booking process from GeTs Holidays was great. The staff very extremely helpful and timely responding to queries prior to and after booking. On arrival we was met by GeTs representative Ravi, it was a very nice introduction to India. We then met our driver Ravi who was with throughout the whole trip. It was a pleasure to travel with Ravi. He was very kind, and made us feel very welcome and safe everywhere we went. The itinerary and hotels chosen by GeTs were are fantastic. We was very pleased with location of each hotel. The staff at every hotel were very friendly and professional. At each part of the trip, we was again greeted by GeTs representative to welcome us to the hotel and ensure that we was happy with the tour so far, and to check if we needed any help. This again made us feel very welcome and relaxed knowing we could enjoy our time knowing there was someone to contact should we need any assistance at any time. The guided tours we had at every location were fantastic, they all spoke excellent English which made the tours very enjoyable. We was very impressed with the knowledge and history the guides were able to share with us at every location and venue. We are so happy that we chose the itinerary with Ranthambore as this was an amazing experience. The hotel was fabulous, a lovely bungalow retreat surrounded by the nature reserve and wildlife. The safari adventure was a lot of fun. We even got to see a tiger which made the trip even more memorable! Overall it was an excellent experience. Thank you to all the team.Show more

  Dear Luke,   Greetings from India !   Thank you for taking time to share with us your experience of your trip earlier this year.   We had received the written feedback from you as well where you had praised the services of the assigned driver and the assigned local guides, you were traveling with another co-traveler Mr Donald during the trip.It will be our pleasure to convey your compliments to the assigned driver, and local guides.   Our guest relation executive Ms Ritu was in touch with your during your trip and when contacted then, you never showed your displeasure for anything, if you have informed us then and there, we could have solved the little issues instantly.   Normally we take our guests to decent city restaurants, because with our overseas guests we care a lot about their hygiene specially when they have problem with the spicy food in India, our driver takes our guests to those restaurants where our guests can have decent food (less spicy) even  if it’s little expensive.   Most of the times, our travelers out of their own wish want to buy gifts / souvenirs so that they can bring it back home for their near and dear ones, only when they express their desire and ask for recommended shops to buy souvenirs, our guides suggest them fair-price shops as we have given strict instruction to our guides against shopping guides.   We are disappointed to learn about your experience with us, we feel if it would have been addressed to us while you were on tour could have been well avoided.   Having said that, we have shared your feedback with the team members and assure you that corrective measures have been put in place to avoid re-occurrence of such incidents in future.    We always try to do our utmost to meet quality standards that will exceed our guests’ expectations and we deeply regret that were unable to meet in your trip.   Hope this incident will not deter you from choosing us again and you will provide us another opportunity to showcase our hospitality standards.   The tour was more than we expected! We enjoyed having the van with guide and driver meet us at the Delhi airport, take us to our hotel, and then commence our tour of the city. Our driver was excellent for the week! He looked out for us and became our friend by the week's end. At each destination (Agra, Ranthambore, and Jaipur) we were met by competent tour guides. We enjoyed their expertise (though a couple of them taxed our understanding of their accent). The 4-star hotels we requested were quite adequate--generally clean and relatively quiet. Our goal was not to have luxury, which would have required requesting a 5-star I believe. We were somewhat frustrated by the constant tipping, so make sure you get plenty of cash and research what is reasonable for tips to whom. One of my best take-alongs was a pair of ear plugs since we weren't used to the noises of cities. We would definitely recommend GeTS tours again and use them in the future.Show more
