Regarding the accommodations, as per the original booking, the hotels selected for your tour were in the 3-star category in India. During the trip, you had requested a change to hotels that match European standards, which are generally comparable to 4-star or 5-star hotels in India. Such standards are typically not found in the 3-star category. Regarding the closures, as advised prior to your trip, Eravikulam National Park was closed during your travel dates. However, we sincerely regret that we were not informed in advance by our local partner about the closure of the Kumarakom Bird Sanctuary, and therefore could not update you beforehand. Please accept our apologies for the inconvenience caused. We also appreciate your feedback regarding the houseboat meals and will share this with the operator.
